VIRTUALLY INAUDIBLE OPERATION

Even at 100% PWM fan speed noise is an insignificant 24.3dB(A)

The two Silent Wings PWM fans feature advanced fluid-dynamic bearings, smooth six-pole motors and airflow-optimized fan blades. The front Silent Wings 3 fan provides extremely high air pressure, thanks to a funnel-shaped air inlet in the frame. Decoupled fan mounting with vibration-isolating elements on the heat sink.

I'm not worthy!

Pros: Cools like a waterblock
Whisper quiet
Good looking
Sweet magnetic screwdriver made me not miss a discrete mobo tray
Easy install

Cons: A bit expensive, get on sale
A bit expansive, overhangs RAM a bit
Install of fan wires scrapes off some powder coating from fins.

Other Thoughts: Man this thing is a sweet piece of high tech. The only way it could be better is if the screwdriver could be used as a support leg for the cooler when you are done with it.

Cools Intel 9900K Very Well

Pros: Looks awesome installed. Extremely quiet, even at 100% fan speed. Cools Intel 9900k very well. No liquid in your computer.

Cons: To remove ram you need to remove the cooler. You also have to make sure your ram is not that tall. I had trouble attaching the middle fan with the provided clips. The clips are not really long enough.

Other Thoughts: I've paired this with a 9900k (not overclocked) and idle is 34C. I used the included thermal paste. Normal Adobe Lightroom editing hovers around 45-55C. Handbreak h265 movie encoding gets to 70C. CPU stress tests push it to a max of 74C. So I'm well away from the 100k limit of the processor. I purchased my cpu on 4/27/2019 from Micro Center. Maybe I got a rare 9900k that runs cool, or maybe this cooler is really good. Air cooled, quiet, and no liquid in my build make me very happy!

Hard to beat this option for air cooling

Pros: - Great heat dissipation
- Great aesthetics
- Fairly straightforward installation

Cons: - Very large, ensure that you have the proper clearance in your case
- If you have high profile RAM, make sure you are not using the slot closest to the processor
- Clips that attach the fans to the heat sink are not a pleasure to work with but that's a one time deal

Other Thoughts: -

Can't even tell it is on unless I look!

Pros: Cooling
Absolutely Silent
Solid Design
Install was fair*

Cons: Large and in-charge*

Other Thoughts: *Install being fair - someone new to PC building may be overwhelmed? Instructions were easy to follow in my opinion and they provided what you needed including a long screwdriver. I'd rate this as easy for anyone that has built a computer, but any CPU cooler that is this big and weighty... dropping it on your motherboard would be bad m'kay!

*Large and in-charge - Not 'really' a con in my opinion; but, as reviews said the fans will overhang RAM, making it near impossible to remove the first two slots unless you remove the fan (which is easy in my opinion) Hell, I'd rather take a fan off my CPU cooler to switch out RAM then remove my whole dang tire to change my batter on my car; so... is what it is.

PS: STUPID quite; like I'm worried the fans aren't on half the time!

Cool and Quiet

Pros: I've been running my system for only a couple days, with no overclocking or heavy gaming, yet. I've only updated BIOS and I'm installing software. Plus email, Facebook, and stuff.
But, this gives me baseline temps CPU: 25C and mobo 26C as reported by ASUS AI Suite 3. These are pretty nice numbers.
As for installing this giant CPU cooler, maybe watch a video and pay attention but, really, installation was smooth and easy. Whatever problems there may have been with an earlier model, I had none with this model.

Cons: No cons, really. But, it is an enormous machine. Careful as I was with the Corsair DRAM into the ASUS Prime Z390-A mobo, I had to re-seat the cards properly into their slots. The cooler is so large, there was no way to get at the memory slots without pulling out the cooler and reinstalling that, as well. But, this was no fault of the cooler, except for its size.

As far as air coolers go, this is as big as I go. If the next generation of CPU's require even more cooling power, I will switch to liquid coolers.

Other Thoughts: I will recommend this cooler to friends, and I would buy it again. Although this cooler is the limit for how big I will go.

Very good product. Great perfomance.

Pros: - First of all, I like the design very much. It's metallic black and goes very nice with my setup.
- It's an excellent cooler, it cools my Ryzen 7 2700x to 29c on idle and 50c max on 100% load.
- It outperforms the previous water cooler I had, NZXT Kraken X62, minus having to worry about leaks.
- I'm very very satisfied, this is a great cooler for a great price.

Cons: - The installation process was a bit hard.
- Can't install while the MB is inside the case, you have to take it out of the case in order to install it properly.

Other Thoughts: - I recommend it very much for anyone looking for a high end air cooler.
- It's better than a water cooler I had.

cool ( thermally and aesthetically ) and quiet

Pros: runs my i7-9700k cool
looks great out of the box
it came with fan splitter

Cons: the thermal paste it came with is little, but that didn't matter because i have another thermal paste

the fan clips are hard to do

Other Thoughts: recommend it for anyone who is afraid of pump leakage or don't want to spend more money on premium pumps to avoid leakage

As cool and quiet as Noctua, but much better looking

Pros: - Extremely quiet. Virtually inaudible under full load with my case's side panel off. Completely inaudible once the case is closed.
- Installation is a breeze as long as you assemble everything with your motherboard outside the case.
- Has zero issues with my Ripjaws V RAM kit in terms of clearance.
- Keeps my overclocked Ryzen 7 2700X in the mid 20's Celsius at idle, and comfortably under 60C under full load.
- Has the ability to run a 3rd fan for even more cooling potential.

Cons: - Case compatibility can be tricky. Even in cases where the cooler is listed as compatible (by checking PC Part Picker), getting your motherboard into your case can be tricky, especially in cube style cases with horizontal motherboard trays.
- The documentation that comes with the cooler for installation is useless. Do yourself a huge favor and just go to BeQuiet's YouTube page to see their installer guide video.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on overclocking, and don't want to use an AIO, this is about as good as it gets in terms of air cooling.
