Pros: - IPS with LED backlight has minimal bleed (there is some but it's evenly spaced, making it barely noticeable. - Perfect calibration from the factory (100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, 2.2 gamma) - It comes with a serialized calibration report - not an add-on to scoff at, imo. - True 10-bit (10bpc) display (yes, it is NOT 8bit+FRC or other makeshift "10bit" non-sense), gradients are perfectly smooth. I don't know why this feature isn't advertised on their site? (and yes, the 10bit option is selectable in nVidia control panel). - imo 4k on 27" is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The pixel pitch is 0.155mm - which makes it among the tightest and most densely pixel-packed desktop monitors out there. (not considering mobile devices, of course) - imo if you're working on anything web (photography, design or even prog.), you'll likely love the color accuracy - it's simply perfect, as verified by a spider calibrator. - Has intelligently designed presets for various typical uses like movies, CAD, photography, browsing, etc.. (and the presets/calibration actually make sense) - Only 60hz but that's as-expected. It still performs well for gaming and the color-accuracy + 4k makes games look absolutely stunning with deep blacks and vibrant colors. - Low blue light modes (love this!) - EyeCare and rest-reminders are always useful - Not a single dead pixel to be found on my unit - Extremely solid build quality. The best I've ever seen in a display in fact (except for Eizo, of course)

Cons: - Comes with a very short DP cable. - Terrible on-board speakers but... who cares and when is that not the case on monitors? - Don't expect this thing to sit small on a desk, it's fairly huge/heavy for it's spec. - The touch power button is annoying (press and hold to turn on isn't 100% responsive - that's truly annoying) - Haven't found a way to keep the display in standby mode, if it exists at all, to prevent from having to turn it on manually every single time I turn on my PC.

Overall Review: I've had this display for several months now and I've yet to be disappointed. I don't toss the word perfection lightly but I could not find a single flaw with the main component - the display itself. It's just... perfectly accurate and EXACTLY to spec. While I was shopping, I had created a complete spreadsheet of all the 4k/5k monitors out there to compare and I couldn't come up with a better price/quality outcome, imo. Many people often try to shop for the "full stack" (full 100% coverage of every color space) but that's often not required. If you work in sRGB or Rec. 709, you're in for a wonderful treat with this one... I think the pricing is fair, BenQ deserves to make a solid profit on this monitor, they've done a wonderful job here. I'd recommend and/or buy again without a second thought.

Pros: Terrific looking panel. Very sharp 1440P. Good price for an entry-level professional monitor.

Cons: CAD/CAM mode kind of a gimmick unless that is all you use it for. Purchased six for my engineers, and have had to RMA two in one year...

Overall Review: As long as you don't mind the hassle of returning stuff under warranty, this is a bargain! Your mileage may vary, but our experience is one-third will fail under warranty. Who knows over time! It looks great though and the price is really nice... ...your call.

Pros: - much easier on eyes compared to its previous version (BL3201PH) - good white - no deadpixels on first one to arrive. (with BL3201PH model i had to go through 4 monitors before one without dead pixels) - very sharp, good for CAD and GUI designers or anything else that requires fine line drawings.

Cons: - displayport is terrible on both this and its old model. has alot of detection issues at random times, especially from sleep. After 1 year of detection headaches i switched to HDMI and it works fine for 4K 60hz on this monitor. - out of box the color temp/hue/brightness is awful, but is better on low-blue light mode. highly suggest to professionally set colors on this monitor (i use spyder3 Pro). - there is a pixelated glitch that comes on right side of monitor from time to time for a split second. it happened on both 4K benQ displays i have had. I tried on different video card and using different cable and its same issue at 4k. happens rarely, but it does happen,.

Overall Review: - i highly suggest you inspect the monitor extremely well on arrival and during its 30day exchange window.

Pros: Nice, bright monitor. A very sturdy stand with easy tilt and swing. The monitor slides up onto the full length of the stand for really nice clearance from the base - especially useful if you have components you want to keep on the desk and out of the way - or if you have a cat that always hops up onto your desk while you work. Aside from the ancient but rock like CRT’s I once used, this a monitor with the sturdiest stand I have ever owned. The stand also allows the monitor to swing 90 degrees vertically - which can be good for code and full page editing (or full body shot photos).

Cons: The menu system is kind of awkward being the buttons are on the right hand back side of the monitor. A series of nondescript dots on the front panel indicate where the buttons on the back are placed, so you have to move your fingers along these guide dots up and down - kind of like braille. No text or icons hint what the buttons are for until you press them and the menu displays on screen.

Overall Review: Just been using this for about two or three days so I can’t comment too much on any additional pros or cons. Haven’t used all features - the provided software is Windows only and I’m on OS X. Mostly I wanted to put through an immediate review to help anyone who like me might have been tempted to return this monitor simply for not having what was a rather obscure setting correctly checked. When I first got the monitor up and running everything was too bright and contrasty - despite my adjusting those controls. Photos looked just wrong compared to my other monitor - very harsh and blown out. But there is a menu setting that fixed all that immediately and gave me colors that matched my other monitor. In Menu / Picture Advanced / HDMI RGB PC Range there are three options. Once I set mine to RGB ( 0 ~ 255) everything looked great! Monitor supposedly also has speakers but I haven’t even bothered listening to them. So far I am very happy with my purchase. Haven’t tried calibrating the monitor yet. The monitor comes with a plastic piece which, until I downloaded the manual, I had no idea what it was used for or where it was supposed to go. Turns out it is a little hook that fits into the back of the monitor to rest your headphones on.

Pros: bright, vivid 4k screen

Cons: has the same dark vertical bands found on similar 32" benq models like the 3201PH/PT and the acer 326 (look up hardforum), unacceptable for this price range. would have been a great screen otherwise.

Overall Review: AUO/BENQ: Please improve your QC or start selling these for $400, not close to a grand!

Overall Review: The price was decent and I'm glad I got one despite few reviews to back up my decision. Just the right size and resolution (no 4k but I'm no fan of Windows picture scaling and price would have to reflect these extra pixels). No issues with panel (dead or hot pixels). Power efficient - compared to 20" cfl backlit monitor it's replaced. Fully adjustable and quality built. Picture is decent at least - I can't see issues with backlight (besides usual IPS limitations) or color reproductions (I think it's better than Dell U2412M, that seems to be on the bluish side). Also, it's definitely 10 bit panel and one of my systems would allow addressing 12 bits per color (over HDMI at lower than native resolution). 10 or even 12bit at 300$, not bad. I've not tried to game on it, but videos look fine and resolution scaling works well (no artifacts). That said, Intel graphics (4000HD and HD in Atom Z3740) would not expose native resolution over HDMI (the only port available) unless custommodeapp is used to create custom resolution (this is not an issue with the monitor itself). Problem is the custommodeapp will not work in Windows 10 (thanks MS). I was able to export the profile from registry on Windows 8.1 box (4000HD) and the custom res just showed up on my 8" Win 10 tablet (with micro HDMI port, silent is slow setup). Again, even aged integrated Radeon chip had no problems with passing audio and video at native resolution and 60Hz refresh. Overall I'm more than satisfied.

Pros: Finally I can kick back and read/see everything from a distance - tight, easy to read text and well defined drawings with no discernable jagged lines using recommended settings - My AMD FirePro 5100 control software is reporting full 4k resolution of 3840x2160 with 10bit pixel format and a 75Hz refresh rate using display port connection. Side input connections make it easy to connect peripherals

Cons: Primary DP connection is not on the bottom but on the back right side, offset slightly to center from the bezel edge - a little awkward but not that big of a deal - the extra loop to the side may actually relieve cable strain when the monitor is in its' lowest position but may also require a longer cable to reach your graphics card if your system is under your desk. Drivers and control software are supplied on a DVD - I don't have one of those drives anymore - but is available for download from the BQ site. I don't have two of these, yet!

Overall Review: This is the third BenQ monitor I have purchased over the past 6 years - I still use them all - never had a problem with any of them.

Pros: "Eco Sensor" - seems to be some sort of infrared sensor at the bottom of the screen, you can see 2 dim red lights there, that can tell when you are and are NOT at your desk and dim the screen or turn them off. I couldn't figure out what was happening at first. This is disabled by default, I enabled it without reading the manual. Interesting feature. Audio is ok - I think the audio on my 1080 Asus was a little better, but that was a gaming monitor. I can still watch Hulu and stuff through the audio on these, so it seems to work well enough. It is definitely loud enough. No dead pixels. I ordered 4 of these and all of them have been perfect since I got them a month ago. Lots of color modes. I am using sRBG mostly. Multipurpose monitors - I do a fair amount of CAD and gaming, these monitors do great on both, as well as the small amount of photo editing I have done.

Cons: I don't like that the USB ports on it get powered down when the monitor goes to sleep. I was hoping to plug my mouse and keyboard into the monitor and only have to run 1 cable to my tower, but when my power settings turn the monitor off, I lose the ability to jiggle the mouse and wake it back up. Just had to do what I have done for 15 years and continue plugging the keyboard into the computer directly. Since the ports are only USB 2.0, it limits what I can use them for other than that. My motherboard has 3.0 on it, so why would I plug jumpdrives or hard drives into these 2.0 ports.

Overall Review: I put 4 of these monitors on a quad mount as soon as I got them, so I didn't test the included stand at all, but it felt solid, it has some good mass to it. All in all, I am very happy that I bought these rather than 4 x 2K Gaming monitors or 1 x 4K gaming monitor, as I use them for a lot more than just gaming and they are still great with games. Maybe not a 120 or 250 Hz monitor, but I could careless about that.
