Is the bezel on this monitor really as slim as it's shown here?

The physical bezel is almost paper thin, but the screen doesn't extend all the way to the edge. It has a thin strip of blank screen around the sides and top about 1/4" in thickness.

I was wondering if this monitor can be used on a mounting system? screw holes on the back of the screen?

There are not additional screw holes for mounting. There is only a single screw hole with spring loaded screw for attaching the monitor to the included base. I think it is unlikely that it would work with a mounting system.
