Does anyone know who this company is? I've never heard of them. What is their reputation, product reputation?

They have been around just as long as ASUS and MSI. I have had 3 or 4 boards from them, all on the CHEAP end. Cheap not inexpensive. They do dumb things like this board can't overclock!?!? Or making a X370 designed for Crossfire do X16 and X4 instead of X8 and X8. The whole point of a X370 is maximum tweaking for maximum performance. This board should be avoided.

Question 2

Just got this in. Swapped out an old motherboard for this. It lights up but I'm not getting any video out on the HDMI or the ATI ports. Not hearing any beeps. The ring on the Ryzen cpu lights up and the lights along the back light up. The diode for Rom 1 is lit. Fans are on. MSI support seem nonexistent. Any ideas?

Those video ports are only for the future unreleased ryzen APU's.  You require an addon videocard for it to function if you have any of the CPU's released earlier this month.

Does this have an M.2 Slot? Biostar website lists an M2 connector for storage for the GT5.

Yes; it's by the PCIe x16 closest to the CPU and to the right of the x1 slot next to the back panel connectors.  Pretty much smack dab in the middle.

Question 4

Anyone tested the RAM speeds with this motherboard? Does it run at 2666 Mhz if you have that RAM, or does it default to 2133 Mhz RAM speeds, and is there a way to change this? Can someone test 2666 Mhz and 3200 Mhz RAM speeds to see if you can get the 2666 Mhz and 2933 Mhz RAM speeds? I need to someone to confirm this and I hope Biostar works on this soon, I plan to start at 2 x 8 GB 2666 Mhz RAM, and get the 3200 Mhz G.Skill Trident 2 x 16 GB Sticks of RAM later.
And I don't want my RAM to default to 2133 Mhz with no way to set advertised speeds through the bios.
I need to know this asap if someone would please test and find out, especially those that have this motherboard already with the higher 
RAM speeds to completely confirm this.

I have this board (X370GT5) on the latest bios (X37AG626.BSS). It is running 2x8GB Ripjaws V @ XMP-3200MHz. Before the bios update, I couldn't get them past 2666MHz.
