Does anyone know if this has on/off switch? Loved my basic Shark-but no switch-burned out when left on by kids! Thanks !

There is no on/off switch. Once you plug it in, it will take a second for the red light to come on and then you will have to hold down the trigger for steam to be made. So if your kids leave it on, no steam will pump out, but I'm not sure if it would burn up or not, never really had that problem.
