Intermittently blanks out for 2 secs 10/29/2019 1:54:42 PM

Pros: Gorgeous monitor...when it's working

Cons: Shortly after purchase 1/4/19 it developed a problem where it would blank out for 2 secs intermittently. Would happen 30 times in a couple hours then go weeks where it was fine. Good some nights, constantly blanking out other nights. Also had a 1-2" horizontal band of digital distortion. This was not in conjunction with the blanking but a separated issue.

Overall Review: I'd love to keep this monitor but the problem is infuriating while gaming.

Overall Review: Bigger than expected and surprising... However I went from a 23" to this monster. Forget about all the bad reviews about dead pixels or damaged. This is the first item I have ever reviewed. This thing arrived in perfect condition. The box even arrived in couldn't say the same. I love it, however am I disappointed that it does not come with built in speakers. I have externals however this should have that but does not. For that reason... 4/5

Pros: Colors are great for the price
An all-around solid monitor

Cons: The stand isn't the most stable
Screen height isn't optimal for viewing unless elevated because of the size and since screen stand isn't adjustable be prepared to prop this up and add a mount

Overall Review: If on sale definitely worth the money

Great size, nice curve, bad ghosting, dead pixels 4/29/2019 2:11:32 PM

Pros: Huge curved screen is great. The 144hz is super fast and smooth. Seemingly great for the price. Love the OSD controls, more companies should use the joystick style instead of the buttons.

Cons: The ghosting/smearing was too much. After playing a handful of games, the ghosting and smearing was distractingly bad and really took me out of the game. I attempted to mitigate the issue with FreeSync on/off, different overdrive settings, different cables, and updated drivers. Nothing fixed the issue, but some settings helped. I may have gotten a dud or my eyes are too sensitive to it.

I had 2 dead pixels, side-by-side, near the top of the monitor. They far up enough that I never noticed them in normal operation.

Finally, the stand is very basic and the color reproduction was underwhelming. The monitor comes pre-set to "warm" and really wants to keep going back to the "warm" setting. If you get this, remember to adjust the colors immediately.

Overall Review: I would not recommend this monitor. This is the low end of that "144hz 1440p FreeSync non-TN" monitor range and it shows. Since you will potentially be looking at this for multiple hours, its worth a bit more money to get something better.

Overall Review: I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a 144 Hz 32" 2k monitor. 2k is perfect for this size - I'm not sure if 4k would look any different (better). This is my first non-1080p monitor, so it may be a bit like a kid on Christmas morning, but this thing really is amazing to look at!

Pros: Best bang for the buck in terms of refresh rate and pixels. This is my first curved monitor and impressed how having such a slight curve changes your perception when your looking at the screen. I feel more connected to my games and videos than ever. Going to buy one for the wife next she likes it that much as well. A++++ ACER good job.

Cons: 4 months later I have a dead line on the right side of my monitor...... Will be contacting Acer to file a repair as there is a 3 year warranty. At least its not dead in the middle of my screen.
