Pros: Excellent color and input lag. G-sync on this model is outstanding. Feels a little better than other g-sync models I've had. Set-up is a breeze, has lots of options for overdrive, game mode with FPS counter built-in. No dead or stuck pixels
Cons: price? I guess the X34s are going for 1100-1300, so this is cheaper. I have a feeling these can come down $100 easy so you might want to wait for a sale. I like the 4K resolution though so it's really up to what you want or need. It's zero frame isn't exactly zero edges for seamless multimonitor; don't know why they make you think that the screen runs edge to edge. It doesn't.
Overall Review: I recommend this monitor for those who can drive it properly. I have X99 and GTX 980 Ti SLi on Win 10 Pro 64-bit. Although I would have no problem using this for other than gaming, others might disagree with the 27" screen size. It's small but it has a retina like effect with pixel density. Games (Fallout 4) look outstanding, smooth and crisp. Not much need for AA with this puppy. Text is very crisp also.
Pros: amazing picture quality, gsync helps immensely with frame drops in 4k, looks great (physically), only 32" 4k with gsync on the market (27" isn't enough for 4k imo, the bigger the better)
Cons: screen flickers like some say although it has never happened to me in game, only in windows and not often enough for me to care there is definitely back light bleed but I don't see what all the crying is about, I don't mind it that much, even in dark games. I look at the bleed the same way I do counting frames: just forget about it and play the damn game, it's not a big deal
Overall Review: I have gamed on many different monitors and this is my favorite one. I even have an x34 I hardly use just because I love 4k too much. i have a 1080 ti so I get a solid 60fps in most games, and the gsync keeps it smooth when the rate drops. I don't play multiplayer/competitive stuff very often so I could care less about 144 fps. the smooth frame rate is nice and all but I'm more about the spectacular image you get with 4k60. don't get me wrong i know there is a difference, I'm not a peasant, but 60 frames is an acceptable tradeoff to be able to game in true 4k. if you're debating between this 32" and the 27" predator go with the 32." screen size is a big factor if you want to see all the 4k brilliance.
Pros: Supports a number of Frequencies and has overclock mode. Sturdy and stylish stand if you like red and black which I do and matches my rig perfectly. Full 24" screen which is better then many of the screens that claim to be 24 but are closer to 23.5" across. Really the prefect size for 1080P if you go 27" I would recommend jumping to 1440P. Incredibly smooth with Gsynch enabled at 100Hz. Higher refresh modes had problems see Cons. Reasonable Color quality which may be adjusted and good contrast.
Cons: I like that the monitor can handle a wide frequency range, the bad part is in my tests anything over 100 Hz gives faint horizontal lines across screen. This is particularly noticeable on icons or where you have transitions. I read this could be caused by refresh rates and when testing anything over 100, such as 120 or 144 had the lines present. I didn't try the OC mode beyond 144 given it has issues even at these lower rates. I tried two computers as well (Laptop with Display port Dock running windows 7 64bit and Windows 10 Desktop), both had the exact same issue at 120Hz and up. Also the supplied display port cable was defective and required jiggling the cable to get a connection. Very cheap cable quality. Thankfully I already had a high quality cable which solved that problem. Color quality out of box for me needs tweaking, quite yellow much more then other monitor I use which had a warm profile, I had to go to user mode and adjust contrast, brightness etc to get a good balance between the screens which are both Acer TN models. Also the Power LED is extremely bright making this not great for night gaming. I didn't see an option to adjust this even though Acer has this listed in some of the manuals for similar screens as a feature. The lines also bothered me enough where I considered returning the screen however since its silky smooth at 100Hz its still an upgrade from my other 24" LCD and of course GSYNCH makes it silky smooth like butter which you have to get used to.
Overall Review: I would like to see Acer offer the ability to Dim or turn off the LED on all premium monitors like this GSYNCH screen, the ability to do this is an important feature given this screen is likely to be used in dark settings as much as light. Frequency issue needs to be addressed as well, for the price I expect the screen to work up to the rated speed of 144Hz. All that said at 100Hz it still looks really good but I was hoping with my hardware to hold 140fps in most titles and have a monitor to match that capability. I was going to give this 4 stars but with the defective cable and verified screen frequency issue I'm not getting the 144Hz mode I paid for so I docked one more star. 100Hz is acceptable but the monitor shouldn't cost as much if it cant perform at the rated stock speed without visual defects. Additional info, the lines run horizontal about every 3 pixels and the content render is slightly off color, lighter vs darker which is why its noticeable they run across the entire screen but are more obvious with some content, tested in Tombraider and 120Hz and up they were clearly visible. I have ordered an ultra high end Display port cable in the hopes that might fix it but I believe this to be a monitor defect given that both the included cable, my cable and 2 different machines one running Intel HD graphics and the other running a Nvidia 10 series card had this exact problem running 120Hz and higher. I needed to know it wasn't my card causing the problem. I will update this review if the cable corrects the issue but since the stock cable and another have the problem I dont believe this will correct the issue.
Pros: Huge compared to the 27"1080p monitor I upgraded from. It looks pretty slick and has a realy nice stand. Picture quality is top notch, and unlike some reviewers mine came perfect out of the box. No dead pixels or any noticeable light bleed.
Cons: At 4K it taxes my 2 EVGA 1080 SC pretty bad. I'm getting 55 to 57 FPS on most games with settings on ultra (other than anti aliasing, which after testing I realized I couldn't even discern if it was on or not)
Overall Review: Make sure your desk is large enough to handle this beast. Also as another reviewer pointed out the display port cable is like 3 feet long. I was able to make it work, but if your rig isn't on the left side (facing the monitor) and right next to the desk, you may want to buy a longer one.
Pros: just hooked it up to my GTX1080 and THE DIVISION looks outstanding. no dead pics, no dust on the screen, and no IPS glow in the corners. it really looks great.
Cons: it doesn't make coffee.
Pros: - Out of the box the display works perfectly and looks great. - G-sync works fine - Nice, quality stand
Cons: - A horrible seam that goes down the center of the monitor that requires you to turn the monitor on and off. - After about 10 months the control panel on the monitor started going haywire and makes the monitor unusable. - The monitor is also super delicate, it developed white splotches after cleaning with a damp microfiber cloth with minimal pressure. - Customer service just does not respond
Overall Review: Overall, this monitor is hampered by some very serious design flaws that make it frustrating to use at best and simply nonfunctional at worse. I probably will not be buying any Acer products in the near future.
Pros: Great size, incredibly sharp detail for reading text. For a TN panel, colors are generally great. (Except the main problem I have with darker colors)
Cons: The only con I have for the device is the absolutely abysmal performance with darker gradients. Color banding is atrocious on this monitor. If you are using this for any gaming and those games have a dark aesthetic to them, your experience will be terrible. You'd be lucky to notice any details at all in darker areas in the game. Battlefield 1 have some really dark and gritty maps. I can look at the ground and I lose all detail in the image. instead of brown mud, it's like a greyish/brownish mix of 2-3 colors instead of the possible hundreds to thousands of different shades. Played Bioshock the other day. Half the time I can't even tell what I'm looking at because almost all detail is missing. Now luckily, most games you won't notice this issue. probably 90% of the time it won't rear it's ugly head. But let me tell you. IT IS ONE UGLY HEAD.
Overall Review: Considering the price, it's ridiculous to have to deal with terrible banding like this monitor exhibits. I would definitely consider another brand after this purchase (I had an Acer monitor before that was 10 years old and I enjoyed it. Only replaced it because I wanted to step up my game and go bigger and have newer features like G-Sync and higher resolution support). But now this experience has left a really bad feeling about buying Acer ever again.

Pros: -165Hz is definitely noticable over 60 or 100Hz. You may not notice it right away, or even looking at them side by side, but if you play at 165Hz/165+fps for a couple of hours then go back to a 100 or 60Hz monitor, it will feel slow and chunky. -for those games that you can't hit a consistent 165fps+ on, G-sync keeps things smooth -Compared to the other monitors I considered, this one had the smoothest motion as well as the least amount of bleed, banding and clouding (it's especially nicer than the Dell, has pros/cons vs Asus) -1440p is especially nice for productivity -I won the display lottery - I have three of these and no dead pixels, quality issues etc. (yes I like this monitor enough that I bought two more). -Hits a sweet spot on price for a monitor with these features. the only cheaper one is the Dell, which I did not like at all. -normal TN vs IPS pros
Cons: -Some may not like the matte coating on the display vs other competing displays (doesn't bother me at all, it's only really noticeable to me when the screen is white.) -Colours and gamma are not as nice as some of the competing monitors (but better than some others). You can compensate for this by calibrating it correctly, but it's a huge pain - this is where the egg gets dropped. -Terrible speakers. They're barely louder than a cell phone, why are these even included? Who would buy an expensive monitor like this and then use such terrible speakers? -The 1080p monitors I use at work make me sad now. -I don't particularly care for the red colour on the stand - personal preference -normal TN vs IPS cons
Overall Review: Runnning 3 of these for a resolution of 7680x1440 (48:9) is a sight to behold, but requires a beast GPU to run. expensive hobby.... I highly recommend checking out the Lim's Cave review of this monitor on youtube. It's long, but extremely thorough. It may seem like a negative review, but overall he recommends it providing you are ok with the matte coating, and you get lucky with quality control (the latter of which applies with any manufacturer). No monitor is perfect - I looked at this and a few others in person before I made my purchase, and none of them would get a "five egg" review. They all have pros and cons, and for me, this one had the least annoying cons.
