Overall Review: I've owned this monitor since April and from the day I recieved it I've had to deal with dark colors being displayed really bad. You could clearly see the splochiness and inconsistentsy with shadows or anything close to black. I put up with it but now I have dead pixels showing up. This is unacceptable after only 8 months of use! This experience has left a sour taste for Acer products so I definitely do not recommend.
Pros:
-Realy great while it lasted
-Huge field of view
Cons: -Started to flicker nonstop after a little over a year, with the occasional blackout. Very painful to look at over time.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this even if it is initially a great product. Having your nice screen die out on you after just a year is really a bummer.

UPDATE: 12/07/2019- After sending this unit in 2 times now, it has failed again. After the first two repairs, it had a couple dead pixels when returned to me, I ignored them based on the previous headache of warranty repair with Acer. Today it has failed again and horizontal lines have appeared as well as bad flickering. It seems like this product is just poor quality. Acer refuses to accept responsibility to replace this. I now have to send it back in for another 3 weeks to hope they fix it. I'll never buy another Acer product based on this product and their support.

I bought this monitor about 10 months ago, it's had some minor back light bleed, but overall good performance. About 1 month ago, I noticed significant image retention after a static image (task bar, overlays in-game, etc.) is displayed for anymore than 10 or 15 minutes. I contacted Acer about this, and was provided a shipping label after basic over-the-phone troubleshooting. I sent my product in for repair after thoroughly explaining the issue. It took them about 3 weeks to get my product back to me. When I got this monitor back, the repair sheet said they found nothing wrong with it. My monitor was still having the same issue, so I contacted Acer again, and this time was escalated to tier 2 tech support. The tier 2 agent told me that image retention is normal, and is within specifications. He firmly stated that all lcd displays do that. Eventually the agent provided another return label. Now I'm sending it back a second time, and will wait another 3 weeks to get it back. Someone from Acer finally saw my negative review and contacted me, and after countless headaches they finally replaced the panel. Don't expect help from Acer, even if it's under warranty.
Pros: Yeah, I wrote a dumb review earlier. I was able to talk UPS into meeting me at the place to pick it up and boy howdy! This monitor is a straight beast! Hands down best thing I’ve bought for my PC yet.

Pros:
I've had this monitor for a year and a half and it works flawlessly. The settings on the monitor are easy to navigate in addition to the adjustable and rotating stand there's a lot of customization. Also I called customer support for assistance and immediately was helped by a representative.
The monitor has many options to work with that's nice and the phone charger is great too.
Cons: The only con was at a time I got a lot of stuttering and found out it was related to the G-sync capability. I turned it off for a couple months and turned it back on within the past 3 months and have had no problems. Idk maybe there was some update to Nividia drivers that fixed it. However, for this ill have to give it 4 stars because it bugged me for a long time.

-great visuals
-sleek design
-easy to navigate
Cons: -I am writing this because I was checking to see if my warranty was still active. Shortly after purchasing the monitor, thin and evenly space horizontal lines appeared across the screen. Support was helpful and replaced the panel. Now unfortunately,it is happening again...one month after the warranty ended. :( It's a great monitor, but it's a bit disheartening to have to hassle with this on a monitor at this price point
