ASUS TUF Gaming VG24VQ 24" (23.6" Viewable) Full HD 1920 x 1080 1ms MPRT 144Hz 2 x HDMI, DisplayPort AMD FreeSync Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free Backlit LED Height Adjustable Curved Gaming Monitor
Overall a great monitor with some minor flaws11/28/2019 6:36:23 PM
Pros: -G-Sync Compatible
-IPS Panel
-165hz overclock
-Sensible button placement for OSD menu, they're also physical and not touch buttons
Cons: -OSD Menu could be expanded on. You can tweak the GameVisual presets but I wish they had just thrown in a "User" preset. At the moment I have tweaked "Racing Mode" to be my daily driver user mode.
-HDRn't.... can we stop calling monitors with peak 300-350nits with no full dimming arrays HDR?
-ELMB Sync brightness does vary quite a bit in my testing so I chose to not use the feature.
Overall Review: Overall this is a great monitor but do not get this for the "HDR". If you're in the market for a monitor that's 1440p, IPS, 1ms, G-Sync Compatible and can hit 165hz, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal than this.

Great Monitor, Misleading Pictures9/21/2021 4:13:53 AM
Pros: Everything but the picture by picture mode.
Cons: Picture by picture mode. I purchased this monitor specifically for the PBP and PIP modes. The images show two full half-screen images in the PBP mode, but this is NOT what you get. The best you can hope for is two half-height images making them too small to do much of anything.
Overall Review: If you want ultrawide this isn't a bad choice. Just know the PBP mode is NOT as advertised in the images.

Adaptive Sync and ELMB at the same time.11/2/2019 6:22:15 PM
Pros: -Adaptive Sync and ELMB sync at the same time. Yes, it works, with some caveats.
-Great contrast.
-Lots of features, highly specced VA panel.
-Minimal ghosting, even without ELMB enabled.
Cons: -Not well calibrated out of the box.
-ELMB introduces noticeably bad strobing at lower frame rates (below about 55).
-Weak HDR.
-The multi-directional knob sticks slightly on my sample (not sure if it's a one-off or affects all samples).
Overall Review: If you want both adaptive sync and back light strobbing at the same time, this is the way to go. Just be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of both technologies (ELMB significantly lowers the brightness of the display).
The monitor is no slouch, even without ELMB enabled. If you're looking for a curved 32" 1440p, 144hz monitor, you could certainly do worse.
Pros: -good resolution
-good refresh rate
-great overall look
-alot of features and settings to tinker with
Cons: -possible dead pixels, just return it and make the problem clear to customer service and get a new monitor
Overall Review: took me a couple of days of monitor shopping to finally pick one that was affordable and will be a good choice to use when I finally get my mitts on an RTX 3080, this monitor is a perfect in-between with a high refresh rate and picture quality, as well as a lot of cool features and settings such as blue light filter and different color settings to choose from, overall a good monitor.
One problem ran into was I noticed a couple of dead pixels on the first product I received, they were white specs when I had it displaying a black screen, the same day I received the product I was able to ship it back, I reached out to customer service and they shipped out, a couple of days later I got a new one and it was close perfect and what I was looking for.
Pros: Easy set up, came with hdmi and dp connections. Easy custom configuration if wanted, I'm fine with out of box settings.
Cons: To be honest so far i have no cons.
Overall Review: I recommend this if you're in the market for a mid level gaming monitor. I say mid level only because there's new 4k monitors out there that you're average gamer can't or refuses to buy. I upgraded from a Acer fhd led 1080p monitor to stop using my 4k TV in the living room and move back to the pc room. But didn't want to pay the cost of a 4k monitor so I went with the current best bang for my bucks and chose this one. The negative reviews posted were from delivery damage issues being blamed on the monitor. If you can afford this or similar go for it. You won't be let down, looks better than my 4k TV and easier on the eyes with the high fps rate. Rotate between many games, all look amazing

Great screen for the price!3/16/2020 11:06:43 AM
Overall Review: I changed my 27" Asus VE278Q for this one and i am pretty happy. I belive it was a good choice for the price and the performance. I mixed with a RTX 2070 super and my gaming experience are really better.
Beautiful monitor, exceeded my expectations12/4/2021 12:50:56 PM
Pros: Easy to setup
Swivel, tilt, and height adjustments
Picture quality
Cons: It wasn't super clear to take the back panel off to get to the power/input ports on the back of the monitor, but once that was sorted there were no other issues
Overall Review: I am loving the size and picture that comes with this monitor! I was initially concerned as the picture-by-picture appeared to be letterboxed, but this was easily fixable by changing both displays to 1720 x 1440 resolution in the Nvidia control panel in my case. The design is really sleak and the control on the back to navigate through the monitor menus is brilliant as you don't have to try and remember which button is up, down, and enter like other monitors. Overall, I'm loving it!
Pros: It looks amazing, G-Sync works super well, settings and controls are straight forward and easy to use, and it has a killer stand that allows for a full range of positioning options.
Cons: The speaker is a joke. It sounds like a mono speaker, overdriven to the max. The only audio seems to be the right side of a stereo channel. That said, think of this as 1/10 of a star removal, as the other features of this monitor far outshine this one tiny drawback.
Overall Review: I would totally recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a great gaming monitor with G-Sync.
Pros: -G-Sync Compatible -IPS Panel -165hz overclock -Sensible button placement for OSD menu, they're also physical and not touch buttons
Cons: -OSD Menu could be expanded on. You can tweak the GameVisual presets but I wish they had just thrown in a "User" preset. Overall Review: Overall this is a great monitor but do not get this for the "HDR". If you're in the market for a monitor that's 1440p, IPS, 1ms, G-Sync Compatible and can hit 165hz, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal than this.
