Is this compatible to work on Benq 4k monitor? This new Benq monitor has ports for hdmi, dvi, vga, and a display port. I just bought a multi-function docking station that is compatible for dual monitors and has (2) 3.0 usb ports, (1) hdmi, (1) dvi, I want to connect this monitor to the docking station that is connected to my laptop. The other Benq monitor is already set up and working and connects from the monitor hdmi port and goes to the hdmi port on my laptop. Is this high speed cable going to work from my other Benq monitor to docking station???? I'm so confused! Please Help!

As far as I know, there are only two types of HDMI cables:  standard and High speed. Nothing else matters — more expensive cables provide zero improvement on image quality as these signals are digital. High speed HDMI  is needed for 4K so this should work.  The bigger question for you is whether your dock supports 4K.  The fact that it supports 2 monitors to me means that it sould work for at least one 4K, but that is just a guess on my part.
