7.1 Surround SoundThe G35 is powered by second-generation Dolby Headphone technology that processes 7.1 surround sound, so you can hear your music, movies and games the way developers intended them to be.
Hear and be Heard ClearlyWith an ear-enclosing design, the G35 reduces annoying ambient noise from interfering with your entertainment, while an adjustable, noise-canceling microphone focuses on your voice and reduces background noise for clear, intelligible voice commands. The rotating microphone boom swings out of the way and mutes the mic without you touching anything.
Maximum ComfortThe G35 comes with three swappable headbands so you can select the style that fits your head best.
Real-time Voice MorphingWith the included software, change the pitch and timbre of your voice using one of six presets that can morph your voice to a Troll, Mutant, Alien, Giant, Cyborg, or Space Squirrel.
Quick Access Audio ControlsThe G35 features three customizable G-keys on the left earpiece for one-touch command over voice morphing. Additional on-ear audio controls provide quick access to volume, microphone mute and surround sound adjustments.
USB ConnectionThe G35 features a USB connector for the ultimate plug-and-play convenience. Just connect the headset to your computer and you are ready to go!

I can charge my phone with these.8/19/2011 7:10:14 AM
Pros: - Auto-muting Mic when rotated up
- Very clear, and very sensitive mic
- AMAZING audio quality; and I do mean AMAZING. I've owned everything from Senheizers (cans and buds), Sonys (Cans), even a pair of Ultrasone HFI-650s, and these rank right up there. Obviously not number 1, but in my top 10 and number 1 among my wireless. If someone was looking for Wireless Headphones, I would recommend these - despite the fact they're technically a headset.
- The battery really does last 10 hours, though that varies, depending how much you talk into the microphone and whether you use PTT or Voice-activation (with VA using more juice)
- I find them comfortable, but some people may not. We all have different sized/shaped heads and ears. I use the smallest size, but in playing with the adjustments, I can see what people are saying about the adjustments being a little lose.
- Volume roller, microphone mute and G-key buttons are very useful; more so than I thought they would be.
Cons: - Extremely sensitive mic (yes, this is both a con and a plus). It can make voice-activation a little difficult to set up. You can either lower the sensitivity, but then you need to talk louder to get the mic to activate (loud enough that other people in the room will notice your raised voice), or you can eliminate all noise from your room and be able to activate it at a normal voice.
I've just starting using Push-to-Talk over Voice-Activation
- You need to physically unplug the USB transmitter when not using the headset, other wise, nothing will come out of your speakers. Supposedly, this is Windows' doing, but it's really not that bad. They give you a USB port on the charging puck that the transmitter can plug into, and the cord is plenty long, so you can put it within reach and just plug/unplug as needed.
- Like every other Logitech driver, no Zune support.
None of these are worth taking away a egg, as there are simple work-arounds for all of them; but they are worth menti
Overall Review: - The Mic on mine was a little lose; any head movement would cause the mic to fall down if I flipped it up. This was easily fixed by removing the ear pad, using a 000 Philips to remove the red cover, and the a 0 Philips to tighten the microphone. The Ear pad goes right back on.
- The Voice morphing is a little stupid. I put one of them on a G-key for the lulz, but I reassigned that G-key to something a little more useful.
- The surround sound makes your music have a very hollow feel to it, almost as if it had an echo (without actually having an echo). Solution: just flick the switch the stereo when playing music. The surround-sound feature is meant for 7.1 sources anyway (movies/videos, games, etc.), not for mp3s or other stereo audio files.
- Micro-USB charger means I can charge my phone with this charging base, or, bring the charging cable for my phone with me and use that if I'm ever in my school's library, listening on my laptop.
Incredibly well worth the money!1/20/2013 8:13:53 PM
Pros: 7.1 Surround Sound - Customizable (if that is a word)
Wireless - Great range (10 yards)
LONG BATTERY LIFE - with a decent charge time
Cons: The software would be better if it were programmable to work with 3rd party programs.
Overall Review: The voice morphing software is a hoot! I showed this to my aunt and she couldn't stop laughing for hours!
My uncle liked it because one of them sounds like Darth Vader.
By the way, VADER WAS FRAMED!!!
Logitech G35 USB 2.0 Surround Sound Headset1/2/2010 4:00:30 PM
Pros: -Surround sound works quite well for me (I've never had a surround sound system before, but I imagine that it can't get THAT much better)
-USB is nice, makes transportation really easy. The cord is also pretty long and has a good, protective material around it.
-The buttons on the side are pretty useful. It has a volume control spinny thing lol, a mic on and off button, a surround sound on and off button and the three G-Keys. You can program the G-keys to change your voice or run other programs.
-WORKS WITH WINDOWS 7!
-Comes with a software that lets you: program the G-Keys on the side of the left ear, activate voice morphing, and adjust the bass, treble and mic levels along with the overall volume, and... uhh... it tells you if the surround sound is on and when you last used it? Is that even a pro? Eh whatever... I guess that's useful...
-The ear cups are pretty large. They fit over my ears pretty comfortably with extra space. You must have some monstrous ears if they c
Cons: -The first thing I noticed was that these things aren't as comfortable as they look. I feel like my heads being crushed and that my head would end up like Stewie's from Family Guy except the other way. May the Lord help anyone with a bigger head than mine, cause I start getting head-aches by the 3rd hour or so.
-Just like other people have said in past reviews, this thing isn't as loud as I would like it to be. I can't always put the volume to the highest because I still need to hear things around me, but when I can, I wish that it was a good amount louder...
-Bass is OKAY. I mean it doesn't get that loud even when you set it to the highest volume in the G35 software, but it's pretty acceptable.
-Cord attaches to left side meaning that it crosses over me... This one only applies to people with their comp on their right side, which includes me.
Overall Review: BOTH A PRO AND A CON:
- Compared to the Turtlebeaches that I use to play on my Xbox 360, this thing's like a brick. It feels much more sturdy, but it's quite heavy and constrictive compared to the Turtlebeaches. Maybe that's the trade off for better sound?
ANOTHER THING YOU SHOULD KNOW:
-The mic automatically turns off when fix it in a vertical position, and whenever you turn it off (via the button or the positioning) it lights up RED as an indicator.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly, if there was a way to loosen the grip that this thing has on my head, it would get 5 eggs even with the other cons listed. But this headset has such a tight squishing force on my head that i have to take breaks when I use them to relieve the tension build up in my head.
All in all, I recommend it to people with relatively small heads but not people with large heads. BIG HEADED PEOPLE BEWARE, THIS THING WILL FEEL LIKE A JUICER ON YOU.

Great except for 1 small defect...11/25/2015 6:37:55 PM
Pros: This headset sounds great. The bass is nice, the sound is clear and you get a good set of settings in the software for this product for customizing your experience including a equalizer and profiles for games.
The 7.1 Surround is awesome when you can hear AT-STs walking around you in Starwars Battlefront with the bass up. Also nice for pinpointing other players better in FPS games.
I have read other reviews that initially the surround function wouldn't work on later windows versions because the software wasn't compatible on windows 10, this has definitely been fixed but I should note that I downloaded the product software straight from their website.
Cons: The ONLY reason I rated this product a 2 egg instead of a 5 would be a defect that I found out about online and experienced myself right after I got it. I would hear a high-pitched digital noise like the "Please stand by" from a old TV on the left ear with the microphone attached whenever I used the microphone with any software like Skype or any other time the mic was accessed.
After about 10 mins of researching, I found that this problem was not isolated and many others have also had the same issue in the G35. There were also multiple instances I found that explained the reason for the noise was that it was a product defect that was fixed in later production models. Specifically ones marked ML 943 and later models.
Mine is marked ML505, which I can only assume that the defect was not fixed in my version.
Overall Review: I will most likely RMA my headset as soon as possible and try to see if I can replace it with one marked with the required production model of ML943 or anything later than that. Apperently you can see the product model from outside the box so I'm REALLY hoping newegg staff will be able to find one or this would of been a big waste of time and money.
If my issue gets fixed, I would definitely re-rate my product as 5 eggs.
Pros: -Fantastic bass (will rattle your head if loud enough)
-Wireless
-Programmable g keys (make an awesome vent binding)
-I can disturb my friends by letting them hear me pee
-Battery life ~8 hours
-The surround sound is amazing for shooters
I've been using this for about a year and a half and I'd say it's by far the best headset I've owned.
Cons: -I had to RMA one set due to a static when charging, Logitech handled it very nicely though.
-The Logitech Gaming Software is rather finicky at times and won't load the drivers correctly. This is fixed easily by simply unplugging and plugging the headset back in.
-The range does go down a little with time but is still quite good.
Overall Review: There really aren't many good wireless gaming headsets out there. This one won by default in my books.
I'm finding that Logitech generally makes superior hardware and backs it with a better warranty then the other companies (I've had terrible experiences with Razer)
Pros: Feels great on muh head, sounds really nice (my first surround headset), nice long cord, controls on the headset are great, and the best part.... sound canceling so when my wife is talking i can't hear her. No really she hates this headset = win!
Cons: I get less fun time with my wife because she hates them...
Pros: Fantastic sound quality, I've never heard such earth-shattering bass inside my own head before. The surround sound effect is really amazing. I tested the headphones with a few games I have on my computer (WoW, Deus Ex, Fallout 3, Borderlands, even Minecraft), as well as a couple BluRay movies and I couldn't stop grinning at the feeling of immersion these headphones give.
Bass is deeper, footsteps come from the appropriate direction instead of just "stage left" or "stage right", water sounds right, thunder sounds right, voices sound right, environments are simply more vivid when wearing these headphones.
The noise cancellation is amazing too, I was listening to music at about max volume and the person sitting next to me couldn't hear it until I took my headphones off. You have your own little private world when you're wearing these.
The volume wheel on the earpiece is very helpful and responsive. The microphone works fine and picks up my voice without much outside noise.
Cons: One small annoyance, the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound switch on the earpiece is a little stiff, whenever I try to switch it on/off with one hand it shifts my headset around on my head; I have to hold the earpiece with one hand and flick the switch with the other. Hopefully it'll loosen up with prolonged usage.
Overall Review: Having never owned a set of Surround Sound headphones, I wasn't quite sure what I was jumping into when I purchased these. I based my decision off 2 things mostly: price, and quality. This set was around $95 when I purchased it and I would honestly pay more for this level of quality.
Long story short, I was pleasantly surprised.
Pros: Amazing fit, comfortable to wear for hours. I have worn this set watching movies, 7.1 sounds amazing in headphones. Also, I am an avid gamer - word to the wise guys and gals, if you are playing BFBC2, turn the sound settings to War Tapes and crank this baby up! There are times when I thought my ear drums were going to blast out! The bass in the explosions are brain rattling! If you are looking to get a head set that will give you the extra edge - I can HEAR people in Black Ops walking up behind me, WITH NINJA PRO on. They call me a hacker! Hahah! I try to explain that it's the headset, and for those that own one, they understand how detailed it is.
Also, the macro buttons are sensitive - so if you have the set, bring up the control panel for the headphones because you might accidently select a voice morpher and sound like a chipmunk on crack when you jump in TS or Vent...lol. You will NOT be disappointed! Best money I have spent here!
Cons: Um...none? It wasn't free? lol. I have paid more money for less product before. Let me list some more pros - great contruction, durable, the cord does not get tangled, great voice morphers (I can sound like Buzzsaw off the Saw movies, which FREAKS people out!), and really comfortable for long use. They are a little bulky, but you get used to that. It's a great trade off for the quality. I will never purchase any other brand from this point forward!
Overall Review: Based on the reviews I read, I purchased this head set and have never looked back. I have also never been this pleased with a headset. Even Razors design to inferior. I studied and have a degree in SOUND PRODUCTION from Missouri State. So I know a little bit about what actual industry standard headphones sound like. And when I saw my favorite Director reviewing the Daylies (google it lol) for his next movie WEARING these headphones, I was sold! If Hollywood is using them to produce movies, and they are durable enough to wear on set, then I believe ANY true gamer would miss out NOT purchasing these!
