NZXT TEMPEST Crafted Series CS-NT-TEM-B Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Well, lets start with the cooling system. If you put me in a quiet padded room with this thing, blind folded me and turned on all of the fans (4x120's/2-140's) I would probably tell you it had 2 80mm fans. Cant believe how quiet it is. As for the amount of space and functional room, I have never seen anything like it in a mid-sized case. I am trying to find more components so I can fill it up! Rolled edges, quick clips where they are needed not where they break, and the added features make water cooling a breeze! A+++

Cons: When I installed the ABS Tegan PS, I though all the fans were broken, I just couldn't hear them. I was also hoping with all the fans the case might levitate but it does not, what a disappointment.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who is thinking about upgrading to a full-sized case either for room or cooling but doesn't want to take up all that space.

Pros: It is well built, no cheap material, and easy to setup. It is big and roomy, which to me is a good thing because I keep cramming several components in there. I like that it has space for 8 hard-drives. The best feature though is all those fans. The six fans keep the case temperatures really cool and the roominess allows for great airflow. All the fans are 120 mm or higher, which means they make less noise than the smaller fans for the same volume of air displaced. My case in the office with one 80mm fan makes more noise than this one with six of them.

Cons: I was not too crazy about the looks, although I don't dislike it either.

Overall Review: I also like the front panel which has USB, ESATA and audio ports, although it lacks 1394 port.

Pros: if you need major cooling for video cards and cpu... look no further

Pros: The case itself has been great. Lots of room, great cooling, great looks.

Cons: I purchased this case on 1/9/09 through Newegg and submitted my rebate request on 1/12/09. I have not yet received the rebate. On 6/23/09 I emailed NZXT at rebates@nzxt.com. Today is 7/10/09 and I have yet to get a response. NZXT is running another rebate program now, and if you are thinking of buying this case, think about my experience. If the manufacturer's rep is monitoring this, consider how you did the hard work of building a good product only to fall down on the easy part: answering your email and honoring your rebates.

Pros: All of it. Where to start...the fact that for mid tower price you get GREAT size and space. Being my first build, I wanted to be able to buy a PC case that would allow for additions and upgrades easily, and let me say now that THIS is the case for it. I looked at PC cases for weeks on end, and bookmarked 3. This one, the HAF 932, and Thermaltake Armor plus. Choosing this one over the others is a no brainer, and Im very happy with my decision. The side window allows for amazing looks and is a great eye catcher. The case allows for good cable management, and did I mention that this case is more than sufficient for large components!? Lets not forget the airflow. This thing is a BEAST. My PC runs Idle at temps ranging from 25 C to 20C! I love it. All I need to say is, if you are looking into buying this product, THEN DO IT! You have my word you will NOT regret it. :D

Cons: Cons...hmmm, this took some time to think about BUT if you are a cable management fanatic, then when using this case, you will want to get a modular PSU. Im using a Corsair 750TX, and for how good the management on this case is, its still hard to do a good job with non modular. Im sure this can be said for most if not all cases, but just an observation. This is NOT a con against NZXT but UPS. Others stated that their case was received and the box damaged. This seems to be consistent with UPS, so PRIOR to buying, understand that your case box will be torn and damaged. It will happen, however, Nzxt does a more than sufficient job at securing their product, and mine was not damaged at all. :D

Overall Review: Why are you still reading!? Just buy this already! Take my advice, I waited and waited shopping around for weeks, until I came across this case. I hesitated at first, but let me be an example, DO NOT HESITATE. This case rocks, and Im loving the looks, airflow, and all. Pros: Bought this case for on sale for $109 w/ a $20 mail in rebate. By far the best deal on new egg. Don't be misled, the inside of the case is enormous and can holds 2 gtx 260 no problem or interference with the 2 HD installed. Plenty of space for expansion. The reason I bought this case was because of the fans, and let me tell you, they deliver. My GPU's run around 45 C and my i7 stead at 20-35 C. The case is SAWEET.

Overall Review: The front panel comes off and has actual filtering foam that catches 90% of the dust pulled in by the fan. Made for the avid machine cleaner. I was impressed to see my botherboard and GPU's all looking like brand new, 3 months after they have been installed. Its design is great.

Pros: This case is one of the best out there right now, ESPECIALLY in this price range. I got it for $110 plus a $20 MIR; a day before it was $100 so I was a little disappointing, but I would pay $140-$150 for this beast. Compared to a Full-tower case like the Antec 1200, this case in only an in or two smaller in some parts, has 1 more fan than the 1200, has 1 more USB on the front, and let's not forget it's $70 less! There is so much room it's not even funny. There's no wires (expect for the CPU power cable) in front or on the motherboard; I was able to stuff all the cables in the area between the PSU and hard drive bays, and it really isn't noticable. The fans are rotating at about 1,000 +/- RPM, so it moves air just fine. And if it wasn't for the fact that my side fan has a weird clicking sound, this thing would literally be silent. It's true....believe the reviews when they say it is SILENT! Great customer service as well, more about this later.

Cons: Well as stated earlier my side fan is making weird clicking sounds; it sounds like a wire hitting the fan and making it tick, but I have confirmed no wires are in the way, so I just assume I have a bad fan. However, NZXT responded to my email the next day; I just have to provide my information and they are going to send me a new fan free of charge. Yay NZXT!

Overall Review: I was set on the Antec 900, but this thing had 2 more fans, plus air filters (there is a bunch of dust that has collected on the front panel; which means it's working great! No dust in my case!) and it's much bigger, so it was a no-brainer. Please get this case, you won't regret it!

Pros: This is a solid, large case. The fans that come with it work fairly well, and keep the case generally cool. The fans are very quiet. Everything worked from the box, and installation was time-consuming, however it is fairly intuitive. I highly recommend this case if you're looking for something in this budget. Overall, I'm very impressed.

Cons: It gathers a little dust, and the fans provided aren't the best. The usb ports at the top seem a little weak.

Overall Review: Plenty of room for cable management and it holds a 4870x2 without any problem.
