Does this unit make much noise?  I understand the fan can be loud on induction cookers.  Thanks!

Noise is a subjective issue, so I don't know what you consider "too noisy". However, I find my Rosewill induction cooker to be very quiet. I can hear the fan going when I'm cooking something, but I don't consider it loud. For instance, I can hear the water beginning to boil in my teapot when I'm making tea. The sound is just the fan running. It makes about as much noise as my computer's fan. As long as the fan is in good condition, there should be no problem with noise.

Does this product go down to 90 degrees? I need to be able to hold that temperature in order to make cheese.

How large is the "cooking" surface area?
I have a very large cast iron skillet.

There are 2 concentric rings on the surface of the induction cooker. I think this is the cooking surface you refer to. The outer ring is 18 cm, or about 7 1/8 inches in diameter. Make sure your skillet will hold a magnet on it. I thought some of my pans and pots were iron, but they didn't hold a magnet and would not work on an induction cooker. The ones I use are designed for induction cookers and will hold a magnet.

I am looking for tabletop induction with 240 to use in Fiji does this one have 240 ?
