Pros: Solid build. It doesn't feel weak and flimsy. Yet it is still flexible.
Supports the 144Hz refresh rate that my ASUS VG248QE puts out.
Reasonable price for the length.

Seems to be shielded as advertised12/26/2019 8:06:24 AM
Pros: Seems to actually be shielded, as advertised.
Certified at displayport dot org.
Cons: The cable is a bit thicker (and therefore, less flexible) than other DisplayPort cables I've run across; probably because of the shielding. Kinda like those thick HDMI cables you can buy. Doesn't bother me, but just thought it's worth mentioning.
Overall Review: Using this successfully with a 1440p gaming monitor running at 145hz, gsync enabled.
This cable solved a problem I was having with a cheaper cable bought from a popular online seller of cables. With that cable, every time I stood up from my computer chair, the monitor screen would oddly blink on/off a few random times. Googling that issue, I found it's not all that uncommon with displayports and was likely being caused by EMI spikes. I even found a white paper about it.
I ended up choosing this cable because it claimed to be shielded and I found it listed as certified on displayport dot org. Problem solved.
Pros: Display port on my ASUS ROG PG279Q works finally . Fast shipping and reasonable price .
Cons: -None
Overall Review: I was told all display port cables are the same . This is not true . I bought a DP 1.1 cable from store that was not vesa certified and it would not get a signal to the monitor. I tried another cable from a computer store 1.2 and it would not get signal . I though my GPU was broken and almost got another one until I read that my monitor only accepts a vesa certified 1.2 cable.
It was hard to find a vesa certified 1.2 cable , not all cables are the same , Check your monitors manual to find out what version it requires . the gb transfer rate is important if you have high refresh rate monitor and g-sync . and always make sure it is vesa certified . I highly recommend doing your research when dealing with DP cables or you will waste your money . This cable is the 3rd one I bought.
Pros: Connects my SLI'd GTX 670s to my BenQ 120 Hz monitor and runs it at 120 Hz.
Cons: None so far. Cost maybe? But a good cable is worth it.
Overall Review: I initially thought I had a bad cable, as the connection would drop occasionally while making cable routing adjustments.
Make sure it "clicks" in to each end. This was my first DP connection, so it was a bit of a noob mistake on my part.
Pros: Good priced cable. The build quality seems solid. Length is as advertised. Works perfectly with my Dell laptop dock and 27" Dell monitor to push 2560x1440 resolution.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: The cable is a lot thicker than I expected. It's a little on the stiff side. Not a problem, but it may not bend into the tightest of nooks and crannies. Fits perfectly for me though.
Pros: Solid build. It doesn't feel weak and flimsy. Yet it is still flexible. Supports the 144Hz refresh rate that my ASUS VG248QE puts out. Reasonable price for the length.
Cons: You can't use it to tow a car.
