Overall Review: My girlfriend and I had been wanting a camera for a long time, and finally decided to just get one. This one had plenty of great reviews, so we went for it. Now I'm not really up to date on all the technological improvements, but man this camera rocks. I'm not sure how old they are, but my friends' cameras' images are a lot grainier. But these are incredibly clear. Even the video it shoots is amazing. Plus with a newegg combo deal, we got a 1gig card free!

Pros: Crisp and clean pictures. The Auto ISO makes it hard to screw up a shot. The menus are easier to navigate and understand compared to other cameras I've owned. The quality of the videos it took were suprisingly impressive. The email video capability was a nice touch as well. The microphone records sound better than my expectations. All around great camera.

Cons: Camera sometimes has a hard time focusing when zoomed in all the way. The screen is huge but leaves fingerprints very easily. These things are to be expected though.

Overall Review: Great Camera! The extras on this cam are fun to play with and easy to use. The 16M card that came with it must have been put in the packaging as a joke.

Overall Review: I have been a commercial photographer for 30 years, and needed a little point-and-shoot that still retained some quality. The SD600 has performed flawlessly. I carry it in my coat pocket every day, and have been thoroughly impressed. Two things - get a 2GB memory card, an extra battery, and a cover for the LCD viewer. I picked up the eFilm cover by Delkin, which comes with a nifty filp-out shade and cover that is detachable. This camera is a great buy and a strong performer. You cannot go wrong.

Pros: Uber-variable shutter speed!!! Yay!!! About 1.5 seconds from hitting the power button to ready to take pictures, fastest boot I've ever seen. Battery is rechargeable, camera comes with charger. Lots of options, be sure to read the instruction booklet. Plain and simple it just takes great photos, leaps and bounds better than my old budget camera. As long as it does not die I feel very happy I spent the money on this camera. I recommend it highly.

Cons: Lacks battery life meter beyond an idiot light saying that the battery power is low. I didn't push my luck, when I saw it I took a couple more pics then put in a fresh battery. Don't know how much I could have squeezed out of it. Cover for USB & A/V output is clumsy, it feels like I'm about to break it opening it up to make the connection. I've followed the instructions and done my best to go easy on it. If it breaks I won't be surprised. Didn't come with a case. Battery is proprietary, but camera came with a charger. This might be a con for some, but I honestly don't care. There are a lot of options, but fewer than I've seen in other less-expensive cameras.

Overall Review: I had an older Cannon Powershot and it gave up the ghost within the first month. The thing turned off a few seconds after turning it on and gave a weird error message. Cannon wanted more than the retail price to fix it despite it being under warranty. I was livid. I limped along with a budget digicam for about a year before returning to Cannon because I could not beat the quality to cost ratio. I used this camera for Thanksgiving yesterday and it worked fantastic. Newegg offered a good combo deal including an extra battery and 1 gig memory card, it paid off yesterday as I took so many pictures I had to switch to the second battery and memory card. As always NewEgg is the best place to buy computer equipment. All other sites/shops are garbage. Thanks NewEgg!!!!

Pros: GREAT Camera! The Picture quality is just AWESOME! I love how they have all the different modes for taking pictures in Sepia, Black & White, Etc.. AND The video quality is AMAZING! Even in a dim room its really clear!

Cons: The Door for the battery seems like it "might" be a problem in the future.. cause it looks a little weak, but thats about it!

Overall Review: I initially purchased this for my boyfriend for a Valentines Day Gift.. I liked it so much Im puchasing one for myself too! I Think this camera is very easy to use, its small enough that you can fit it anywhere! Its a GREAT buy for the price!! =]

Overall Review: This is a good camera for taking everywhere. You never know when that great picture is there waiting. I own the Canon EOS 20D for those serious, important, artistic shots. But for those every day fun shots, this little camera is just the ticket. The ISO settings make it nice for dinners and evenings out when a flash just would be intrusive.
