Pros: One of the best dollar per Gig ratios.

Overall Review: I own 4 WD Caviar drives (this is the first SATA one) and they all work great. Heavy traffic all the time and no errors.

Pros: Runs quiet,easy to install

Cons: i didn't even get a year warantee but they offered one for 19.95. if i knew ,i would of bought one with 3yrs included.before you buy check to see how warantee you have.

Overall Review: wd still makes good products

Pros: this was easy to install and set up no probelms at all.

Cons: windows xp did not reconize the high capacity until after the sp 2 update.

Overall Review: this is great for any one looking to try a sata drive!!!

Pros: was cheaper by xx bucks at local big chain store..big enough storage for me...all in all a nice drive so far cant hear it running...no errors but it is not my primary drive.

Cons: looked at manuel a few seconds didnt know if it got power from the secure connect cable so i didnt hook up the molex connector...so if anybody else u need to hook that up it doesnt get power from the secure connect cable.

Overall Review: im running windows xp...i ve never hooked up a sata drive before...so u need to go to disk managment to get windows to reconize the drive and set it up right.....it showed in my bios and under device manager but didnt see it listed with the other hard drives i have...so go to disk managment to set it up

Pros: Quickandquite. Easy installation hardware and software. Easy added as a second storage on my pc

Overall Review: After i was done with installation and hadn;t even added anything to the new HD i was just browsing and logging into aim and the blue screen of doom appeared out of the blue:P Dunno why but everything worked find as soon as i restarted the pc. Im not too worried what caused the blue screen to pop up but the pc was runing a good hour after being installed. Maybe a random pc fart and New hd installation was added but i dont think it caused it.

Pros: Hard to say - DOA

Cons: DOA - and Western Digital's RMA phone number gave a message saying that it was too busy to accept my call and said call back later - clearly they have sent out a lot of faulty drives!

Overall Review: 2nd wd drive to fail with me - i will stick to mxxxor from now on.
