i bought the single white fan for 25 bucks is it different then the fans in the 3 pack ?

I regret this purchase if the description is correct...the rgb controller is shown and the bold text of the item name and description says with CONTROLLER! but notes below say without controller. Anyone know how to unconfuse this?

i just bought the single fan for 25 bucks i am thinking it hooks into MB for sync i dont think the 3 fan pack does that that is why i chose the single fan for my heat sink
