Pros: Discount Item
Trusted Brand name
LED isn't overpowering
Cons: Can't think of any
Overall Review: I put these in my backup. The case is old and not designed for this size fan but I own a drill and found some templates. I didn't need huge airflow just more and more quietly. I can't hear them. The wiring is plenty long enough.
Pros: I've used these a lot and never had one quit on me. Work perfect every time.
Cons: still dust magnet, but you know they all seem to be.
Pros: I got a pair of these to put into my coolermaster AMMO 533 case moidified case so had one on top for exauhst my computer runs basically 24/7 and these fans have been perfect will be ordering some more when upgrade mobo and video card they only have motherboard 3 pin plugs so if you need a molex adapter then look at something else these are great quiet fans with nice blue LED lights. the price is good too even though it has gone up a couple bucks over the last 2 years
Pros: Plug and play, no messing with wires
Cons: Couldn't find the needed screws because they weren't in the fan plastic packaging, had to rummage through the foam filled box before finally finding them, was somewhat my fault but could've been better packaged, no eggs taken off
Pros: the fans are very bright at first, and they are cheap
I cant believe the high rating this product has.
Cons: these are not 16db fans, and they don't move 60cfm. i was looking for case fans that looked cool to put in my Lian-LI pc-a71f.. these had great specifications and a attractive price so i bought 2 of them. after about two months the brightness of the led's faded away so i bought replacement fans, i went with the green LED Apevia fans, those fans are rated at 20db and 59cfm.. i was surprised to find that they apevia fans were much quieter than the coolermaster fans, and they moved more air. the apevia fans lasted me about 6 months before one of them got loud, i replaced those fans with Corsair fans and couldn't be happier. i don't have led fans anymore, but at least my computer is silent and moves alot of air.
Overall Review: being a audiophile and obsessed about changing my room acoustics I bought a cheap loudness reader from office depot so i could actually see how loud these are. being held in the air, the cooler master fans are actually 22DB, then when put inside a computer case they get louder due to vibration and turbulence, i got a reading of 28DB when in my computer case... at no point are these fans 16db! the Apevia fans are actually 20db when in the air and 23 when in the case. spend a little extra money and buy something good.
Pros: blue swirls of light
spiraling toward oblivion
cool, blue serenity
uttering but a whisper
Cons: DO NOT USE TO MAKE SMOOTHIE
Pros: Moves a decent amount of air for my system. VERY quiet. Soft, not glaring blue LEDs (I can do work with my case open and not need sunglasses). You really do get **2** fans for this price! Newegg rocks the shipping and customer service.
Cons: They don't come with a 3 pin to molex adapter, but with everything you get for the price I can't really complain.
Overall Review: I ordered these to go into a HTPC, hoping they would be quiet enough to do the job. they're even more quiet than I expected, and with one at the front and one at the back there is plenty of air moving through this machine.
Pros: Look great!!
They are quiet, not silent, but very quiet.
Worth every penny!
Cons: The pics don't give them justice.
Didn't come with dust filter material.
Overall Review: Because the Blue LED's are behind the transparent fan blades, as the blades turn the LED light is distorted giving off an amazing curved blue light effect.
I didn't have any case fans prior and this dropped all temps 5 degrees C.
As for the level of quiet, in a silent room, I can hear it; with a window open, movie playing, or a few feet away, I cannot.
Some people use pantyhose as a dust filter but I just didn't want to cover there glowing amazingnes. So I looked everywhere for the perfect material and my search is your reward: use a vacuum dust filter easily found at Walmart or other stores. It is a poris spongy material that is easily held to the back of this fan by Velcro.
