Cooler Master's Real Power Pro RS-750-ACAA-A1 PSU is designed with the power user in mind. This 80 Plus certified unit has a rated continuous output capacity of 750W with a max peak output of 900W. Not only is it a SLI certified unit, it is also compliant with ATX 12V v2.3 and EPS 12V v2.91.
The 24-pin motherboard connector is backed up by both a 4-pin and an 8-pin CPU connector. There are 5 Molex and 6 SATA connectors for drives and other peripherals. The PCIe connectors (two 6-pin and two 8-pin) have bead core protection to minimize EMI and electrical noise. A floppy drive connector is included, just in case you need one. The 4 +12V rails are rated at 19A each for plenty of discrete power.
Keeping everything cools is a 120mm fan with an automatic speed control. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh for unrestricted air flow. The combination results in a low noise rating of only 17dBA.

Pros: Contrary to negative reviews posted; this PSU is compatable with my MSI P6N-SLI board. It has every connector imaginable, and more 3 more SATA than what the review sites say. Compaired to similear, I bought this PSU because. 120mm fan, 86-81% efficient, some intelegent power protection circuity. Connectors are 24+1, 4pin P4 Connector, 8pin 12V connector for mobo, 2x8pinPCIe, 2x6PinPCIe, 6xSATA, 5xMOLEX, FloppyPwr.
Cons: A bit more expensive. No real explanation of the 3 12V rails. Long cables are't modular, so its becomes a clutter by the CD rom drives with the 6 PCI-e power connectors. This is un-usable for older boards, but I doubt you need 750 watts.
Overall Review: A large number of MSI users have noted that their motherboard fails to remain on. It seems that althougth both MSI and Coolermaster conform to the ISO spec, somehow certain boards don't send adiquate signal for the PSU to comply. A large number of RS750 were RMA. I don't know if I got the next gen, but I do know that my MSI-P6N-SLI+QuadDualCore6800+Gforce8800+6HDs works perfectly.
Pros: This was a beast of a PSU, sticking by my side on 3 builds over 8 years with near constant overclock. She never let me down...
Cons: Honestly not one. Maybe if it was modular, that would be cool, but in 2008 that was a rare feature.
Overall Review: Like all good things, they eventually come to an end. I can hear the transistors whining, and possible coil whine as well. Time to switch her out. I also noticed that in my new Skylake 6700k build that I was experiencing a "ripple" effect in large open world games as they were streaming in objects. I'm sure its the PSU and not my DDR4 memory because it's more pronounced during OC vs when I leave the system at stock, and it's happening in games that my previous PC had no issues rendering. Oh well, I absolutely loved this PSU. Great purchase!! I'm going with an 80plus GOLD standard PSU considering how long this one lasted me.
Pros: This powersupply has plenty of connections and futureproofed my build. At the time of purchase I was running a EVGA 8800GTS SSC 640 and have since upgraded to a GTX260 216 superclocked and O/C my CPU and ram. Even with all that , this Powersupply is silent and runs flawlessly.
Cons: Wish it had a 2nd 8pin to work with the GTX280 but there are extra 6pins to use with adapters.
Overall Review: Word to the Wise
I have been building PCs for 15years and one thing i have seen a lot of is individuals not watching specific requirements on hardware and buying "close enough" then posting negative reviews because their hardware didn't work. So please take negative comments on this PSU not working with certain motherboads with a grain of salt. Some people just don't read the details before purchasing and try to blame the hardware.

Pros: I purchased this power supply to replace an aging PS that is currently about 2 1/2 years old. The Cooler Master Power supply is in & working great (it is also incredibly quiet). Installation took about 20 minutes. At the time with discounts and rebates it was a great deal.
Did not work with MSI motherboard8/21/2008 6:18:32 PM
Pros: Look nice.
Cons: It didn't work with my MSI K9A2 motherboard. Got a replacement from Newegg. The new unit didn't work either. I regret that I did not read the negative review on this PS.
Pros: 750 watts continuous power, currently (as of the time of this writing) comes in a combo deal with a great case, plenty of connectors for all users, sleeved cabling, 80+ efficiency, nice sleek look (matching my case perfectly), near-silent fan, comes with both 4-pin and 8-pin CPU connectors, and it even has a floppy drive power connector, for those of us still in the dark ages.
Cons: You never really appreciate exactly how much 19 is until you're trying to find room to put 19 connectors into to keep good airflow in your case. The cables are long and plentiful, so in a lesser case, cable management will be a nightmare. If you've got room in your case, though, it's not a big deal (mostly just a nitpick). It does defeat the purpose of sleeved cabling, however...
Overall Review: The connectors and cables all feel solid, and with 750W continuous/900W peak, you're probably not going to need to upgrade for a while (unless you decide to go high-end Quad-SLI, of course). And the 80% efficiency will help save on the electric bill.
2 moths and waiting on customer support3/22/2008 5:58:19 PM
Pros: It works, just not with the MSI K9A2 board.
Cons: Returned power supply per Cool Masters instructions with a RMA# and was informed I would be getting a refund within the week. Four weeks later and no refund. I called them 6 times so far this week and they will either hang up or tell you the manager will call you back, never received a single call from them. AVOID COOLMASTER AT ALL COST!!!
Overall Review: Newegg.com had everything at my door within the 2 days when using 3 day shipping.
