Can the fan speed of the PSU CM|V850 SFX Gold ATX 3.0 R randomly go full speed even with no loads?

After using both models of this PSU, the one from 2023 and 2024/2025, I can say that the fan speeds sometimes fluctuate. I wouldn't say they depend on the computer loads, but I do believe that the PSU has a temp sensor/regulator that can turn the fan on. I haven't personally seen mine ramp up to full load randomly, but that's not to say I haven't paid full attention to my PSU fan, considering it's usually out of view while I use my computer. I will say that I have experienced this fan at full speed, and even so, it's not very loud. I would contact Cooler Master if you believe your unit is acting quirky, although it may just be one of the protections kicking in.
