Pros: Great ram for the price, super fast.

Cons: My Abit board and this ram did not get along too well but I think it was the board's fault and not the rams as my new Asus board works great with it (except for having to change the timings which is no big deal).

Overall Review: I recently changed motherboards from an Abit AV8 (which hated this ram) to a Asus A8N-SLI Premium board. If you own this board you will have to change the timings from 2.5-3-3-5 to 2-2-2-5 and boost the DDR Voltage to 2.75 and then all will be well in the world!

Comments: WOW this is the fastest ram ever!! just swapping out the corsair ram with 1 gig ocz i dropped 5,300 points in 3dmark alone, This ram is amazing and stays ULTRA cool to the touch, nice to have the LED's letting you know how much load your system is undergoing, by far the most important purchase in my pc. Comments: My A8N-SLI Prem. MOBO recognize 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.8v. If I OC My And 64 4000+ the settings get higher on [auto]. I tried to manually set to 2-2-2-5, my system didn't boot. Don't know what's the deal. gets 4 for the Led's lol.

Comments: I bought 4 gigs of this stuff. Its the Bubonic Chronic of RAM baby! I love it. Have my fx-55 OC'd at 2.8 and its running just fine. Dont really need to OC an fx-55 anyhow...but whatever. Pros: Fast, as fast as you'll ever need for a DDR400 RAM. Reliable and fully compatible with any dual channel system. True Plug n' Play RAM. And now, nearly three years after I bought mine, the price compared to say the Corsair Value-Select series, this is such an outstanding value that you'd be stupid to try saving 50 bucks or so . . . this is SO worth the Saturday night bar bill difference.

Cons: The heatspreaders with their LED light show is nice, but really, either there's one or two green LED's which means your system's not POSTing or just the last orange and red LED's are flickering, which means the RAM's working right; a nice if not mostly unnecessary feature since this RAM always works and isn't the source of you system problems. The con is that this heatspreader has a wide footprint. This will pose a problem on some MOBO's if the RAM has to be installed in adjacent slots; also a concern if you want to install two pairs of these (4 total - duh).

Overall Review: I recently rebuilt my system which meant amoung other things, switching to 240 pin DDR2 (Corsair XMS2 of course), fortunately the other components that had to be switch out as well means that I have the old system ready to be rebuilt which means after three years of rock solid performance, this RAM is hardly done, I'm confident that it will continue to run the old system for years to come. I've said it before and I'll say it again, buy Corsair and make it the XMS series!!

Pros: MUST HAVE A MOBO THAT WILL DETECT THE FULL SPEED OF THIS MEMORY GREAT MEMORY IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT FANTASTIC MEMORY DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS

Cons: MSI BOARDS WITH AMI BIOS WILL NOT DETECT THIS MEMORY. AMI BIOS SERIAL PRESENCE DETECT (SPD) WILL NOT DETECT THE 2-2-2-5 TIMINGS.. GO WITH INTEL BOARDS

Pros: It's fast and it looks great in a windowed case.

Cons: You can get RAM with similar performance for less money.

Overall Review: Get it if you want fast RAM and don't mind paying a little extra for the lights.

Pros: simply couldn't be happier with this ram.

Cons: absolutely none.

Overall Review: the best buy i've ever made on newegg.
