Pros: No problems during POST, I just preset the BIOS timing, frequency and voltage and all 4GB (4X1GB) worked just great. Except for my own stupid mistake, as I was putting on the fan I accidentally push down one of the DIMM retaining levers and unseated one of the chips, but it only took a minute to see that was why the BIOS only recognized 3GB. I very thankful that I did not have a bad chip! Newegg’s processing and shipping was very fast……

Cons: Be carefully when putting on the fans! The price may not justify the speed improvement, but that is depending on the person and their wallet???

Pros: Handpicked D9GMH Baby!!! Can run 800 MHz 3-4-3-9 or 1070 MHz 4-4-4-9 BUT...you need the full 2.4 volts to run these speeds and consequently the fan must be used (even if your case has good airflow).

Cons: D9GMH is no longer made and this is an EOL (end of life product). If they fail, Corsair cannot replace them with the same product. D9GMH runs quite hot.

Overall Review: This is my third set of C3DF. The first two failed after 2 months, but the fan was not used (see CoolBlue review below). Abit IP-35 Pro, E8400, Zalmann 9500, Antec 900, XFX 8600GT @ 860 MHz, Corsair VX550, Samsung 216BW

Pros: This RAM certainly does what it says it will. Low latency at 800MHz and 2.4V. The dominator heat spreader with the fan really do keep this ram tens of degrees cooler than other RAM.

Cons: Two RMAs due to memory errors in a year? This is probably due to the 2.4V and my occasional tests with Memtest86 when rebuilding the machine. RMA through Corsair is no fast process. I bought a stick of Crucial Ballistix just to tide my machine over while my RAM goes through RMA again.

Overall Review: You can get 2G of decent 800MHz DDR2 for around $50 these days. Sure, you can spend 6x as much on this stuff and what does it get you? For gamers, not much. 3dMark06 scores dropped all of 300 points with the Ballistix at 5-5-5-12 @ 2.1v versus the Corsair 3-4-3-9. Heck, my Ballistix will run 4-4-4 timings though I haven't tried that just yet. If you do get this RAM, avoid 2.4v!

Pros: It came with a fan. :) It says Dominator in the name!

Cons: Timing was very hard to keep at manufacturers specs. I was able to have it run at 2.4v 4-4-3-9 but not 3-4-3-9. Only way to get the timing right was to turn on SLI ready memory mode in BIOS. In the first week I got BSOD, then it was like twice a week, then 4 times a week then, almost everyday. I tried different timings, voltages, and even reinstalling OS ( XP 32bit to Vista 32bit), but no dice. One chip died after about 2 months then 2 weeks later the other.

Overall Review: I tried alot of different timing setting to get my computer stable with the RAM. I even went and placed each module in each slot to see if maybe the board was faulty. Still nothing worked. Finally after the first one died I bought some OCZ Series SLI-Ready Edition OCZ2N800SR4GK and now everything works great. Timing is right, voltag is right, and no BSOD. :)

Pros: best memory i've had til it failed. shutting downa nd no post issues.

Cons: 680I kills this memory, doesmt matter what voltage or timings are being used. rma them and the replacements will eventually do the same thing.

Overall Review: i ahve 2 680i boards and had 2 gigs of C3DF in each. i went back to the C4 and have no issues at all. this memory and the 680i do not get along and unless you catch this within the 30 days from when you got ur memory and return it for a refund, youre basically stuck with useless ram until a newer chipset comes out.

Pros: Run them low latency 3-4-3-9 @ 800 MHz or I use it 5-4-4-9 T1 @ 1066 MHz (2.35v). SuperPi times are faster on Intel processors with greater bandwidth than with lower latency. Stays barely warm to the touch in my Antec 900 without the Dominator fan.

Cons: Don't run these at 2.4 volts!!! This is my second pair and Corsair can't replace them (they are End of Life modules) if they poop out.

Pros: This super low-latency memory, 3-4-3-12 timing. The memory timing worked in my Asus Striker ExMB. The memory is rated for 2.4v, but after two weeks at that setting the memory failed. Special fans included with the kit were installed. My guess is most people just use the SDP settings at the default motherboard settings and do not setup to the spec numbers. The units are RMA'ed.

Cons: Probably do not want to run at rather high spec voltage of 2.4v. Better to dial back until timing breaks.

Overall Review: Have some spare memory sticks around while your parts are doing the RMA lap.

Pros: Its fast!!!! corsair has great custumer support!! They sent me new ram asap!!

Cons: i purchased mine for $409 and its now dirt cheap :( Ram worked for a week and went dead.
