Question 1

Is it possible to turn both the logo LED and the LED under the scroll wheel off so there are no glowing red lights?

You can control the led logo lights by using the Corsair Gaming Software.  It enables you to turn the logo lights on and off.  However the three LED dashes that indicate dpi speed located below the scroll wheel cannot be turned off.  I am not a fan of shiny flashy lights when I'm doing work on my computer. When the mouse is in use the dash LED lights are covered by my hand and not noticeable.

Question 2

Does the m40 store changes to profile in the onboard memory like the m65 does ?

the m65 is CH-9000022-NA.

According to the Corsair website, yes it does.  You can store profile changes and macro commands, then unplug the mouse and take that macro/profile setup with you to another computer.  I haven't really tried out this feature myself.  You must download the mouse software, from Corsair, to take advantage of this feature, but it is a really small program and easy to use.  If your considering this mouse, I highly recommend it over the elite 'laser mice', which I find to be way to jittery.  I have been using it with no problems since July of last year.

What is the DPI of the mouse if it is set to the middle setting???

By default the middle swtting will be 1600 DPI but is fully customizable with the software provided free by Corsair.

Question 4

For those that have used this mouse, can the software switch profiles based on the .exe file being used?  Like it'd automatically switch to my gaming settings if I load up WoW?

Yes, it does change the settings of the mouse based upon the ones you have selected in-game. Excluding the cursor speed of course which is governed by the button below the scroll wheel.
