Left and double click issues, sticking and triple click issues

Pros: - rgb lighting if that's your thing
- good size and weight
- braided cable
- interchangeable grips

Cons: - left click and right click issues around after 6 months to 1 year of use
-iCue software keeps resetting the lighting to the point where I don't even use the lights anymore
- only 2 side buttons

Overall Review: So i bought this somewhere else, but just to warn you, this is a pretty darn expensive mouse to fail just after 6 months to a year of use. I thought it was just me being paranoid with the double clicking, but after a year of use, it has become clear that the left and right click buttons are faulty. When I play fps games, left click sometimes double or even triple clicks for me after only pressing once. Right click spam clicks after holding or left and right click just stick, so in game it would think I am holding down left or right click when I have only pressed it once. I have to click it again to make it unstick. Overall, ABSOLUTE TRASH FOR THE PRICE. What a huge rip off, never going Corsair again. I thought logitech was only known for their double click issues, but corsair is going to be known for their TRIPLE CLICK issues.

Was great at first, but then it was worthless.

Pros: Great feel and control, decent price.

Cons: Left-click button started failing just after a year or so; making it impossible to use.

Overall Review: I typically use Corsair products because they're built well and are reliable; but after searching to fix the problem, I saw that it is common with Corsair mice; their buttons wear out way too fast.

Nicley shaped too heavy non clicking

Pros: Buttons feel good (despite their lack of function), nice shape, corsair has design aesthetics I appreciate. The body is very solid.

Cons: Heavy, double and misclicks frequently, not very accurate when compared to my g403.

Great Mouse, right up until it starts double clicking.....

Pros: As im sure others have said, feels great to use, good overall handling, a really good mouse overall, I really enjoyed it when it worked correctly.

I like that the 2 buttons on the side didnt get in the way. They are largely useless and serve just to get in the way on most mice...I like the design of this Corsair Glaive.

Cons: The buttons start randomly double clicking.

Overall Review: Ive put my mouse through maybe 1200 hours of gameplay, including about 1100 hours of The Division(So alot of clicking in a Shooter game) and other games like Company of Heroes, so a good deal of clicking, and after just a few hundred hours it started to do the double clicking I see alot of people complaining about. FOr me it was the Right Mouse Button. It was very noticeable when playing games like Napoleon TOtal War, when I would realign my formations, it would randomly click my guys off in some random other spot on the map. In Division, my guy would stutter zoom when trying to ADS. If I was to zoom in, he would zoom in and zoom out real quick. If I was trying to unzoom to move, he would unzoom then zoom back in quickly, a stutter zoom is what I call it. Also, when in Division, if I was trying to unzoom to move, it would do the stutter zoom, and then, thinking im supposed to be unzoomed, id hit shift to run, and then it was just a mess of stutter zooming, swapping shoulders, and just yikes. Company of Heroes, same as Total War, my guys would just randomly move to another off the wall random location on the map, where the mouse decided to double click.

1200 hours or so for a $70 mouse. I had an old Logitech MX300 that I think my Uncle brought home from KCC college where he worked.....I put that mouse through similar heavy duty shooter action. BF2, 2142, 1942, Company of HEroes, Everquest 2 and that mouse got easily 2 YEARS worth of heavy duty gameplay before it's buttons gave out. I was against investing more than 20 bucks into a mouse because I figured these higher price mice would wind up doing the same stuff as the 20 buck junkers. Unfortunately, I was not proven wrong...

Great Product, until it doesn't work. Then good luck.

Pros: - Excellent hand feel, great configurabilty, etc.
- Never had issue with precision, and when it worked for the first couple of months, it was great.

Cons: After about 2 months, the left-click button began either missing clicks, or double/triple clicking with a single click. This could be a debounce issue, but so far no conclusions. This was 8 months ago.

Since then I have been in a continuing sporadic interaction with Corsair customer service, where initially they tried reloading firmware, resetting, etc. This worked for a bit, before the mouse relapsed into missing clicks, double-clicking randomly, and just general failures of function that is considered rote for peripherals these days. Over the last several months, this issue has gotten steadily worse, and it took me about 2 months to finally get even a, "Yes, we'll replace your mouse! Just send it in and we'll replace it!"

"But," I said, wistfully eyeing my only mouse. "I only have one mouse. Can't you just send me a new one and I'll send you the old one?"

"Of course!" they replied, "If you use our Advance Replacement Process, we'll send you a new one, and then you can send us back the old one! It's supper easy!"

"That sounds great," I said, knowing this was a pretty common feature of customer service. "How do we get that started?"

After a couple of days, they replied, "Oh, if you just close out this ticket and start another, we'll be sure to get this going."

I was skeptical at this, given the half-year I had invested in this one ticket. This was a $60 mouse, and I was pretty sure I had exceeded my hourly rate months ago trying to get this replaced. But, what did I have to lose? I would either play the game, or just cut bait and go buy another mouse.

"Okay," I said with resignation."Give me the info, and I'll get the new ticket started."

"That sounds grand," they said. "It just happens that our Advance Replacement Process is having issues processing payment, which is a critical aspect of being able to handle this claim! We don't know when it will be up. Boy, that does suck!"

Yes, it does suck, I thought to my self. You dragged me along for months on end, trying to get me to give up on getting a simple device that was faulty replaced, your system for RMA isn't even working (allegedly), and afterwards stood me up like a cheap date after bending me over a barrel for 6 months.

In the end, the conclusion reached is:
- Corsair products are good when they work
- When Corsair products don't work, your best course of action is to put them in the microwave, watch the sparks, and then immediately go buy something else. Expecting Corsair to stand behind a warranty is like expecting a fine dining experience from Chipotle; you might get what you pay for, but the recovery will not be pleasant.

Overall Review: No, I will not recommend any Corsair products. I used to like Corsair, but this has literally been the worst customer experience I ever have had. This was so bad, I was incentivized to write this review, which I never do.

Days on end hearing nothing, no other contact info, and in the end I still have a dying mouse that I should just put in the microwave and go buy another.

Corsair, if you have monitors on this, learn well; customer, company, individual. People who buy your products come first. If you screw them over, or make it so ridiculously hard to come to a solution, it affects the company's bottom line, and ultimately the individual's success in the company. Corsair Support "upset" me off enough to go out of my way, grab a beer, and spend an hour writing a review on a product I would have been happy to have if it, a) worked as intended, or b) the issue with the device had been properly an quickly addressed. Neither occurred, and so now I'm out an hour of my life, and you have a permanent review marking your products down for all the world to see. Was this really worth $60?

Big Mouse, Small Price!

Pros: - Feels good in the hand thanks to swappable thumb rests.

-You'll probably never accidentally bump the 2 buttons with your thumb; they're placed high-enough to avoid a stray thumb twitch.

-RGB colors are vivid and bright, and sync up with other Corsair lighting parts.

-Primary and Secondary buttons have enough travel before a click is made to avoid unwanted activation.

-Surprisingly light and very easy to move on nearly any pad, even hard pads like the Polaris.

Cons: -Not all CUE-based lighting effects are present for this mouse, limiting customization moderately.

-While light, the mouse almost feels very cheap.

-You MUST click through the DPI levels to get to a previous level (for example, you can go from setting 2 to 3 directly, but to go from 3 to 2, you must click through 4, 5, 6, and 1). This is major for gamers that want to carry out actions quickly.

-A bit OCD for me, but 3 front lights on one side and 4 on the other is irritating, but I won't count this against it.

-Lack of weight customization.

-It's wider than it really needs to be. You'll feel the edge of the mouse in the middle of your ring finger which might be a bother to you (Razer Naga anyone?)

Overall Review: Let's be honest; this mouse, like all mice, has its drawbacks. But I still like it almost as much as my Proteus Core (Spectrum wasn't out yet). I'd LOVE it if it had a wireless version. I have a Polaris mousepad and that notch up at the top really snags my cable.

The Glaive integrates well with the iCUE software, but it doesn't have as many lighting options as other Corsair RGB products, so it limits my creativity.

Lastly, as previously mentioned, it's a big boy. Having interchangeable thumb rests is very nice, but it's the outside width that bothers me. I like to hang my ring finger on the side, but the Glaive likes to poke at the inside of my finger and it just feels odd.

Overall a great mouse, but there's plenty of room for improvement. A solid 4 out of 5.
