Pros: Solid, well made and sturdy. Good material and does the job mechanically.
Cons: Corsair's mouse tuning program is pretty bad and outdated. Your hands should be considered "big" to use. Long , thin fingers with a wide palm is ideal.
Overall Review:
Not for everyone even if you play the right games for it. Hands should be big to make use of buttons.
Software sucks.
Pros: Feels nice
Cons: Software is bad.. oh and you update the software key maps are broken and have to remap them..... which software is bad so takes about 40 steps to map 12 keys...
Overall Review: Overall the mouse feels nice but doesn't work well when the keys don't map. Just buy a razer mouse and never look back or deal with corsair bad software.
Pros: The Corsair equipment is very nice to look at - but that's about it! ZERO EGGS. I HAD TO SELECT ONE EGG TO GET THE REVIEW TO GO THROUGH.
Cons: Left mouse button now has a mind of its own after a year and a half of normal use. This of course renders the mouse useless. I also have a half-useless K-95 keyboard with a numpad that worked for only six months. NO MORE CORSAIR FOR ME!
Overall Review: VERY, VERY, BAD - CORSAIR - YOU LOST WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! NO EGGS FOR CORSAIR!
Pros:
Mouse works great, comfortable to use and quality has been great so far.
- Comfortable
- Quality
- Key Mapping is incredibly useful (though there are some limitations and it requires some setup to get working how you want it).
Cons: - I would have preferred the buttons on the top of the mouse to allow changing of DPI or other functionality instead of controlling colour settings, but that is a personal preference.
Overall Review: I would recommend, especially to someone who finds they need quick utility shortcuts or hotkeys (I use it for gaming to limit reliance on keyboard buttons.
Pros: Overkill. Can do macros, autoclick timing, etc. Its way more than I need or want but I'm sure it's a pro for someone out there.
Cons: So it's an mmo mouse with the standard 1-12 action button side bar. The buttons are even stamped with the numbers. And yet out of the box they are bound to just random keys and the ONLY way to actually bind them to your action bar is to download their bloatware program that crashes and stops working and eats up CPU %. Pretty stupid that the buttons arent default 1-12 and I have to download sellers junk just to make it work like it's supposed to.
Pros:
- First of all, mainly it is a MMO mouse, but buttons can programmable for any task. Easy to customize.
- Some people say hard to reach side buttons. Actually, this is the main problem for any MMO mouse (12 buttons). But key slider works for me. I didn't expect it would work. I got used to reach "all" 12 side buttons. I was thinking to use only 9 buttons before buy it. (This comment only about reaching buttons, not about texture on it. Check cons please) But reaching last three buttons (10-11-12) can be hard (sometimes impossible or isn't practical) on any MMO mouse. Keep in your mind before buy any mouse like that.
- Software is good in my opinion.
- RGB Leds. Easy to change for any setup you want. e.g. I don't like any light source that comes directly to screen (or distract me) in a dark room while I watch movie. I created a profile that turns off the leds when media player starts. It's a basic example but sometimes basic problems can be annoying.
Cons:
- Texture on side buttons would be more noticeable. Easy to click different button on the action.
- Reaching last three buttons can be hard. Key slider helps, but depends of hand/finger size.
Overall Review: - I have been using it for 6-7 months, and I haven't encountered any problem yet like double clicking or non-working buttons. If I encounter double clicking problem, all my comment/rating will be changed. Double-clicking is not acceptable problem. I can't ignore it. Of course I don't expect that it works stable 100 years.
Pros:
The grip textures are great and well placed.
These gaming mice with all their buttons are great for mmorpgs. The grip textures on the scimitar feel great. The textures on the thumb keys are also alternated allowing you to easily know which buttons you are on. I've used the logitech g6 and razer naga in the past and this corsair scimitar has the best designed thumb keys. I also think because of how easy to grip the scimitar is I won't need to swap mice when i play fps like i used to.
Cons: no cons yet but I'm writing this at day one.

Pros: Cool lighting, nice grip, and tons of buttons.
Cons: The #11 side button on the mouse I received is extremely loose and feels like it might break at anytime.
Overall Review: A solid mouse with great advantages but beware that with the large number of buttons on the mouse some of the side buttons may have issues or be extremely loose.
