Pros: Um, it works and delivers clean power. Nice build quality.

Cons: Despite having to void the warranty, no complaints. I had to void the warranty because when I powered it up, they wrapped some internal wires with this fishnet type cable wrap. Some of the stray 'fingers' where it was cut was hitting the internal fan and the sound was driving me nuts. I opened it up and did some cutting and noise gone. No way I was going to RMA it for that reason, voided warranty or not. I'm not deducting an egg for that.

Pros: This is a very high quality PSU. And I am shocked to even recieve such a rebate and get 20 dollars back. Nonetheless, it performs incredibly well. -This unit is really really quiet.

Cons: absolutely none!

Overall Review: I've been struggling with blue screen errors ever since ive purchased a desktop with ibuypower. _with countless times I have tried to adjust/fix the problem, it turned out futile. After I installed this PSU, I longer have that issue anymore. I am so glad.

Pros: Very quiet once I figured out what the horrible noise it was making was. Looks nice. Stable Power. Cons: This is why I gave it 4 eggs: Initially it was LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD. It sounded a lot like bearing going bad, though the fan spun up fine. When I got it, the cable cover that makes the cables look nice had 1 lousy piece that was sticking under the cover of the fan blade on the power supply. I looked and looked. I actually RMAed it and then I was packing it up and I decided to look closer and I noticed how much it moved by the cable being tugged a little. I saw the issue, then I pulled the cable and snipper it off using scissors. No noise anymore. I was surprised how quiet it was. I cant hear my computer at all now with 4x120mm fans and 2x80mm fans going.

Overall Review: If you are looking to get a power supply, and you aren't sure how many watts to use, find a power supply calculator. Newegg's calculator is overboard and doesnt give you an accurate number. For instance it says a 5400 harddrive takes about 35 watts a piece to run lol (its more like 5-10) Keep in mind, 400 watts from this Corsair is likely to work better than say 600 watts from Rosewill or Joesmoes PSU company. Look at the rails and how many amps there is. Most power supplies are split up by how many watts and amps a rail, or a voltage can carry. Your computer is mostly using 12V. This power supply carries 360w on the 12v rail. This is enough to power all but the higher end gaming platforms.

Pros: Stable single 30A rail that's perfect for any budget build setup. 80plus certification along with being a CWT oem unit, so you know it's good quality. Large 120mm fan stays very quiet and keeps this model very cool. Most people I have talked to would go for the Antec EA380 but that psu isn't near as good as this. Two dual 17A rails, isn't as effective as a single 30A rail since you run the risk of overloading the second rail. The first one is dedicated to the cpu.

Cons: Only a 3 year warranty as opposed to the 5 year you get with all other Corsair psus, or the 7 year you get with their newest HX models. With that said I would like to see any psu with above 3 years at this price.

Overall Review: A lot of people would try to go cheaper with this part of your build, that's a bad idea when you have a well built unit like this for an excellent price. For me this is powering my old budget system: x2 5400+ BE 3.3ghz OC - eVGA 8800GT SC - 2x1GB G.Skill ram - Seagate 7200.8 320GB hdd - Abit KN9 SLi motherboard

Pros: Solid. Works. Steady and constant power readings. Sleek and pretty as a bonus. Nice long cables. Very very quiet. Moves a nice flow of air. Energy efficient!

Cons: Quality doesn't come cheap

Overall Review: 5 yr warranty hopefully ensures longevity and outweighs cost factor. Bought one for friends build 2 months ago after 2 days research. Just bought two more and getting a 650 edition for my new build. PSU's are getting better, and are becoming a more important build factor to consider. No longer will any cheap'o psu do for today's quality build. Happy with the choice so far.

Pros: Worked perfectly with my Antec mini P180 case and Asus M3A78-EM motherboard. Tons of power cables for everything (from old IDE hard drives to new AMD motherboard). Large fan is silent.

Cons: Cables are permanent and non-detachable. But for less than $60 (before rebate), to be expected.

Overall Review: Wanted to mention quickly, although only cosmetic, the fact that in my case the PSU is mounted on the bottom, which requires that the PSU is upside down (so the fan is facing up). The "Corsair" logo is etched in such a way as to always be read right side up, regardless if mounting on the top of the case or bottom, so if you have a clear side panel, it looks like it was meant to mount that way (as opposed to some PSUs where it would have looked upside down). Just a neat detail thing that probably 90% of people will never see once they close the case (including me).

Overall Review: A power supply of this quality and performance is amazing. It is equal to other units that are more expensive and powerful. I bought this for my wife's PC that I built 5 1/2 years ago. The PS then was a no-name 425w unit that just finally died. Newegg had a great deal on this 400w Corsair at the time, so I decided to do a bit of upgrading on her 939 socket system starting with this power supply and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The unit is built to handle much more than most other PS in it's class. For anyone looking to anchor a nice PC system on a budget, this is a great place to start. System specs : Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939, 2GB Corsair DDR 400 PC-3200, CM Hyper N 520, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.2GHz, ATi X800 XT PE 256mb, WD 150GB 10K rpm Raptor HDD, Creative SB Audigy 2Z5, 2 ASUS 24x optical drives, Win XP Pro 32 bit. It's an oldie but a goodie. Corsair will be a mainstay in all my future builds along with Newegg.

Pros: Was working well for 2 years RMA process was simple no problem with Corsair customer service

Cons: No longer working after 2 years No return center in Canada

Overall Review: Something I did not know about Corsair is that they do not have a return center in Canada and you have to pay for return shipping even when still under warranty. This effectively, renders the warranty of inexpensive item useless. Something to keep in mind when comparing similar item.
