Great, until it’s not 4/25/2020 9:19:20 AM

Pros: Super quick install. Great power. Super easy to connect.

Cons: Worked amazing till one day it stopped. Computer wasn’t being used at the time but was on. Heard a loud pop and then whole unit shut down.

Overall Review: Not sure why this happens but after using for almost two years the thing slayer stopped working. Seems from reading the other reviews this is a common problem.

Like others have stated... Lasted 18 months 8/23/2019 2:04:48 PM

Pros: *Worked

Cons: *Until it didn't work.

Overall Review: At this point I would not recommend any Corsair products to anyone building a PC. I purchased 3 Corsair products for my build the water cooler lasted 6 months, the power supply lasted 18. I'm not even going to bother to see if this has a warranty left because the water cooler replacement on the shipping was more than half the cost on the unit. Totally ridiculous for a gold rated power supply.

Worked great for a year and a half 8/14/2019 6:40:40 PM

Pros: Plenty of power, all the necessary cables and then some, easy setup.

Cons: None until they stopped working.

Overall Review: I purchased 2 of these units for PCs that I built with my kids. They died within weeks of each other. The first one lasted just over 18 months, the 2nd one lasted almost 19 months. No warnings, no temporary loss of power, just died. While plugged in, both would turn on a small led on the video cards in the system, but not the MB light. Actually had one of the MBs replaced thinking that had to be the problem. Got the new MB and had exactly the same problem. Pulled a 550 watt power supply from an older system and tested it in one of the newer, non-working systems and it fired right up. Tested the other system and it too worked.

Very frustrating.

Currently have RMAs in for both power supplies. The call went smoothly, I will update my review after the process is complete.

Stay Away 7/25/2019 11:51:19 AM

Pros: worked flawlessly for a couple weeks
passes the paper clip test

Cons: would not boot with any sata drives attached after just a few weeks
power cycles randomly when gaming or just idle
died while in bios and refuses to boot back up

Overall Review: I switched SATA power cables after the first one quit working. That worked for an additional few months. I also tried all 4 SATA power connectors on the PSU. As soon as I disconnected the SSD, it fired right up. I even just ran a NVME M.2 drive for months just to have a working rig. Installed a RTX 2070 Super and gamed for an hour and all was fine. Booted into bios to change something and it powered off. It refuses to power back on now. Never exceeded a 60% load. Switched back to a 7 year old PC Power & Cooling 750w Silencer and haven't had a single problem yet. I've had 2 Corsair PSUs. Had to replace the 430w due to excessive fan clicking after a year. Tried to start the RMA process on this 750w over 6 days ago with no response aside from the automated. I'm really disappointed in these PSUs. Haven't ever had a problem with any Corsair RAM or my H100v2 cooler.

Getting tired of Corsair Power SUpplies 5/9/2019 11:40:26 AM

Pros: it worked

Cons: lasted 21 months which is becoming quite the trend with most corsair PSU I've purchased.

Overall Review: I'm done with the brand for good now

Died in 3 months 3/3/2019 5:41:09 PM

Pros: Nice modular cables.

Cons: Ordered back in Nov. for a new build, worked great until it died in Jan. Turned on the computer one morning and it made a loud bang.

Overall Review: I would get a better model from Corsair, seems this one dies alot.
