General information

Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

This extreme performance liquid CPU cooling solution, model # CW-9060021-WW, is designed for cases with 240mm radiator mounts. It's armed with dual SP120L fans and a 240mm radiator, delivering heat dissipation that is far superior to stock CPU cooling fans with lower noise level. Corsair Link is built in, so you can monitor temperatures, adjust cooling performance and customize LED lighting directly from your desktop. Plus, with self-contained, closed-loop design, the H100i is easy for users to install and maintain, no refilling required.

240mm Radiator

The double-wide radiator offers approximately twice the cooling area of the Hydro Series coolers which use a 120 millimeter or 140 millimeter radiator. It fits virtually any case that has dual 120 millimeter fan mounts spaced for a 240 millimeter radiator.

Advanced SP120L PWM Fans

The custom-designed SP120L fans are different than standard case fans – they’re custom-designed to deliver high static pressure for mounting directly against radiators, and the fan blades are specially shaped for maximum air delivery with minimum noise. Since they’re PWM controlled, you can customize the fan speed to choose the optimal point on the performance/noise curve.

Built-in Corsair Link for Monitoring, Customization, and Control

Attach the included Corsair Link cable to a USB header on your motherboard and download the free Corsair Link software to unlock even more power. You can customize cooling performance, monitor coolant and CPU temperatures, and change the color of the RGB LED lighting from the default white to match your system, or to change color based on temperature readings and other inputs.

High-Performance CPU Cooling Made Simple

Gone are the days when water cooling required lots of work. The H100i GTX is a closed loop design that comes pre-filled, and it comes with a modular, tool-free mounting bracket for faster installation.

Bad Times 11/19/2019 11:53:32 PM

Pros: Easy install, Looks good.

Cons: Bad lifespan, loud.

Overall Review: Mine is 3 years old, with roughly 100 gaming hours (due to work). When my H100i GTX was new, my i7 4790k would game at 70 degrees all day in the california summer (never overclocked). ....But now...
The moment I open a game, the CPU temp jumps to 95 and stays; which in turn makes it very loud. Not sure what to do.. I certainly can't game on it right now though

Definitely something going on with the pump on these things 2/12/2019 7:25:38 PM

Pros: Keeps the system very cool and is very quiet. Easy to install.

Cons: Seems like the pump quality on these things is not the greatest. I am having issues with higher temps now but I noticed that this is when I turn my computer on and off. If I notice I am having higher temps I unscrew and rescrew the mounts on the water block again and make sure they are tight and the temps go back down.

Overall Review: It seems that there may be a problem with the water block getting loose somehow when power the computer off then on. Not sure why this is but I have to remount the block every time temps are higher in order for temps to go back down. Would give this a higher rating if the pump quality was not so bad. I am tempted to call support but in the case of this product I suspect even if I got a replacement it would just do the same thing.

Deteriorated Quickly 1/27/2019 3:01:42 PM

Pros: - Keeps your OC cool
- Easy install

Cons: - Lifespan of product very short
-Extremely loud

Overall Review: I wouldn't buy this, the product started out doing the job well and eventually the pump itself started to go relatively soon. After that I couldn't keep temperatures down, and the fans that really do more extreme cooling are really loud.

Lasted 2 years 7/22/2018 12:03:16 PM

Pros: It did a good job while it worked. Unfortunately, it broke exactly two years later.

Cons: When it breaks, the heat causes weird problems. It’s hard to diagnose since you can’t keep the computer going long enough to run the corsair link software.

Overall Review: I would not recommend this to a friend. I’m done with liquid cooling. Costs too much and doesn’t last.

Worked well while it lasted. 3/15/2018 12:01:59 PM

Pros: - Kept CPU temperatures low under heavy load
- Quieter than a similarly performing air cooler
- Looked cool

Cons: - Failed after almost 2 years, which isn't so bad, but I would have hoped for a little longer lifespan, maybe just not to be the first thing to fail in my computer.

Pump started clicking but works well 2/19/2018 4:42:52 PM

Pros: Keeps your CPU very well cooled

Cons: Mine broke within a year of buying it and while submitting a ticket and working everything out took a while Corsair did agree to replace it.

Overall Review: I had mine for about 7 or 8 months then the pump started clicking and beeping. It took corsair support a few days to agree that this was a mechanical problem. They didn't really answer my questions so I decided to call Corsair IT. That went incredibly well and if you every have technical questions for Corsair I highly recommend calling IT.

Would Give 5 stars but 2/18/2018 5:55:59 AM

Pros: Amazingly cool, and quiet until you utilize Corsair Link cable and software. Prior to using the Link cable I would have given this thing 5 stars. My CPU (FX 8350) doesn't ever get above 42c - but once you install the link cable you will find out that this is a VERY LOUD and VERY LOUD and VERY LOUD AIO cooler. RGB? It gets taken over if your Radiator Water Temps turn 45c and turns it RED as if there is something wrong happening in the system.

Cons: Big time Con - the built in, unchangeable settings in Corsair Link, monitors the radiator water temperature (as well as CPU temps) - it forces everything to 100% when the water in the radiator reaches 40c (even though that means CPU is only sitting at around 32c) - fans spool up (moving an IMPRESSIVE amount of air) and produce an EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE amount of sound. The pump spools up to 100% and everyone in the area will know you have hit 40c at the radiator. Unplug the Link....CPU never goes above 42c even under max loads and hours of gaming. Keep the link unplugged and my profile (Quiet profile) isn't forced to change and you cannot even hear the PC running (I have 11 fans in my PC and pride myself in its quiet - almost tossed this out)

Overall Review: Don't pay more for this version of Corsairs AIO coolers because it also has Corsair Link. Not worth it at all. The extra temperature monitors that you get are, Radiator Water temp, Pump RPM, Radiator Fan RPM - you can install Corsair Link software (without actually having Corsair Link) and get monitors for all other portions of your PC anyhow. And with those extras you get - Hijacked, unchangeable Corsair settings that turn this into a Jet Engine (man it does move a metric ton of air) under light gaming (League of Legends gets the water right at 40c its ridiculous), and RGB control. I set my RGB color to match my needs and unplugged that cable.

Happy Camper 2/10/2018 3:18:58 PM

Pros: Installed new Corsair H100i GTX on a old EVGA X58 SLI3 Motherboard. Currently I have it overclocked @ 4.2 GHZ. It replaced an almost 5 year old Corsair H50 that has been working accordingly. After almost 5 years the H50 started to show signs of wear and tear.

I did a 35 minute OCCT stress test on the old and tired H50 my temperatures where up on the mid 70's to low 80's. On one of the stress test my PC shot down while stressing the H50.

The new Corsair H100i GTX is working accordingly with no issues to report. I performed a stress test using OCCT for 35 minutes it never got past 65 Celsius on a 20 Celsius room temperature.

I do not have any issues to report in regards to the Corsair-link software. Actually the software was user-friendly in my opinion. Just make sure you download the latest update to the software and install the software driver from the Corsair web page.

Happy Camper.

Cons: One thing to mention, if you happened own an EVGA X58 motherboard on a mid-size computer case things may get interesting when installing the pump to the CPU. The clearance between the radiator fan and one of the nuts to fasten the pump to the CPU is down to nothing. Somehow was able to screw the nut on. (Luckily!) Again, this only pertains to the old EVGA X58 motherboard with a mid-size computer case.

Overall Review: ***UPDATE*** 2/10/2018 After clean install on 9/3/2015 of the H100i GTX water cooler this thing has died and or showing sings of failure not even close to the five year Warranty according to Corsair. My system crashed hard three or four times with overheating issues. The pump runs according to the LINK app but system still overheats even though I have set the BIOS to the DEFAULT setting. I have tried a new clean install of the pump still overheats under normal use. Corsair what's up with that? Why did it fail 2.5 years into the Warranty?
