Question 1

I have a Asus M4A79XTD EVO Motherboard and I was wondering: Would this type of Memory/Ram card be compatible with it?

Also what I currently have installed for ram/memory on my stationary is: either 6.00 or 8.00GB of ram I'll have to check. But I think I have 6.00GB of ram on it.

So would this be worth the upgrade?

Taking a quick look at your mobo specs, it looks like it takes DDR3 1800(O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066 while this is DDR3 1866 so I would look for one that specifically lists one of those memory standards.

Whether its worth the upgrade is sort of subjective. Depends on what you're running and what you want your computer to do. My rule of thumb is to have to gbs per ghz. so if you have a 3.5 ghz or so processor 8 gigs of ram should be fine. If you're trying to upgrade a gaming PC or something, then it might be worth it, but again, depending. Odds are probably not. If you're going to stack your PC with 14-16 gbs of ram, odds are something else in your set up will bottleneck your speeds before you utilize that much memory.

Question 2

Can I use four (4) of these 8GB/each particular memory models (for a total of 32 GB) for my Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P MB and Win7 64-bits?
I would like to replace the four 4-GB/each unit presently installed.

Yes. Four of these will work in your motherboard. It supports 1866 as well as up to 32gigs.

Just a side note, keep in mind that these sticks have huge heatsinks. I had to mod my case for the radiator to fit on top of these.

Question 3

I have the Gigabyte EX58-UD5 with i7-960 and they say that XMP profile memory can only have 1 module per channel if 1600 or higher, up to 2000. This is a TRIPLE Channel MB.

Has anyone else gotten these to work on this MB?

Or should I just go for 6-4Gb 1333 non-XMP memory instead?

xmp is just a pre set profile.. these will work just fine. Just set them to 2000 manually if they will not run xmp profile 1.
