Pros: I purchase two dimms for a HP 2000z, and both worked wonderful, upgrading from 512 MB the difference is huge, win vista premium runs incredibly fast and no lag whatsoever.
I was impressed because I was skeptical about upgrading to vista thats why purchase these dimms before upgrading.
Cons: NONE.... CRUCIAL MEMORY ROCKS!!
Overall Review: By the way, the Dual Channel is active in my PC, which is great, I used to think that only worked with certified Dual Channel modules, the ones that sell in pairs.

Pros: Fast...relatively inexpensive...
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Works perfectly in my Dell Inspiron E1505. I kept getting a message saying that the amount of ram has changed...blah blah blah..." after 3 times I just pressed a bunch of buttons on the keyboard...and WA LA!...booted right up :-)...
Bought 2 sticks to replace the 1GB that came in the notebook. Seems about 4-8% faster...but I don't work my computer that hard, so you may see a better increase.
When "alt-tabbing" out of games and back in...it's instant now compared to the 15-45 seconds it took before.
Pros: This is based of the brand new D9HNZ IC's. It is the high density IC's from Micron!
As you can see in other newegg images, most other ram has 8 chips on each side, for a total of 16. (note that the crucial images are not what this crucial ram looks like at all)
This brand new ram has only 4 IC's on each side, for a total of 8. And, each IC is also smaller (uses newer manufacturing process).
The end result is that battery life is slightly improved (less chips to power), and it runs cooler because there are 1/2 as many chips.
Cons: Its a few more bucks (about 10) to go with the crucial/micron ram vs other vendors.
Overall Review: Rare to see something made and assembled in the USA. For some reason it makes me feel better seeing Micron chips which are made in the USA assembled in the USA as well.
Micron/Crucial also does an excellent job of sending out reliable ram. I have never once received a bad set of Crucial ram. They have very high quality standards.
Pros: Crucial name and quality. Made a huge difference in speed while running windows in a VM.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Great buy, and great upgrade if you want to run VM or other memory intensive apps on a macbook core 2 duo.

Works great, as expected5/5/2007 10:50:42 PM
Pros: VERY easy to drop into my Inspiron 6400. It immediately recognized that the memory configuration had been changed once it was added. Rebooted, and it worked like a charm. Opted for XP Home on this machine, rather than Vista. Two gigs makes this thing fly.
I've used Crucial memory before and have been nothing but happy, so snatching this up when the price was so great was a no-brainer.
Pros: Work on my Gateway NX570X. Bought 2 to get optimal performance for dual channel. When I run Super PI on T7200 on Vista Home Premium, I get 1m03 [2M] with 2GB ram; before 1m04[2M] with 1GB ram; not that different. However, performance is noticeable different when I run two visual studios and SQL server. Newegg service is awesome; took only 2 business days to receive my order.
Pros: I recently purchased a Macbook Pro, and after noting that it cost $xxx to upgrade to 2 gigs of RAM via Apple, I ordered 1 gig stock, and went with the Crucial RAM for half the price. Newegg is selling this RAM for even cheaper than Crucial does! It came well packaged, shipped very quickly, and was simple to install. MBP recognized it immediately, and now the machine really screams. Crucial + Newegg = best choice.
Cons: Sort of expensive if you care about that. If you're buying an Apple product, then it's probably not a factor. Otherwise, none.
