Pros: Lifetime warranty The second one I got worked perfectly and after I change the settings in the bios to 1600 MHz and changed the timing (As these settings are picked up by default) it ran as expected.

Cons: Unfortunately the first one didn't work out of the box as it cause my system to freeze on POST and had to be RMA'd. Not a very good CAS latency for 1600 MHz ram especially considering the price.

Pros: + Works well in newer systems + Crucial is very helpful at solving problems if it isn't working + Newegg has a straightforward RMA process

Cons: If you have a Dell OptiPlex 380, 780, or 980 system, this RAM will not work; you need the lower-density version that lacks the J at the end of the model number. Newer systems do not have this problem; I tested it in an OptiPlex 3010, where it worked fine. This will also apply to other manufacturers, of course; the problem lies with the chipset, and I'd expect any Intel G41, Q45, or Q57 motherboard to have problems with this RAM.

Overall Review: I could have saved myself a lot of effort if I had checked Crucial's compatibility information more carefully.

Overall Review: Ordered for my new build couple of month ago. I thought 4gb is going to be enough but I was wrong. My build begged for the other 4gb so I ordered another one. It's working great in dual channel mode.

Overall Review: Used this for an Intel Pentium G3258 on an MSI H81 motherboard, the moment I slapped the sticks of ram in I have not had a single issue, works like it is supposed to.
