Pros: Yes, I guess 5 years of service on an SSD isn't too bad. I had thought because of "no moving parts" etc, that it last forever? Bad assumption on my part. I had just gotten a WIndows 10 update, and then, after a reboot. It was gone. I mean GONE! No entry in the BIOS. Cables checked and OK. deata drives still there, bot no OS drive.

Cons: Well, it only lasted for 5 years. That is the con.

Pros: Great SSD. Ran as OS only. Win 7. (Guess it’s time to move to Win10)

Cons: Didn’t last forever! Started slowing down noticeably about 6mo ago. Still works/slowly but data corruption has started.

Pros: Was like having a new computer, booted fast

Cons: It has been over a little 2 years and the drive is dying, will not complete system restore at all.

Getting an intel drive that is warranty 5 years parts and labor, loosing this drive only after 2 years is a kick in the proverbial nuts.

Overall Review: I would not purchase a Crucial drive again

Pros: - Desktop boots up within like 30 seconds
- Used up about 90% disk space and still loads everything super fast.

Cons: - 465GB not 500GB

SUPER FAST WITH SMART CACHE 4/15/2017 5:48:18 PM

Pros: - It's Crucial and reliable
-It's an SSD and without smart cache is around 500 write and read
-I get 11,400 on passmark Disk score with smart cach 1160 read and 1000 write

Cons: - None at the moment. Wish I had a 1TB but they are still too expensive. Most people put their OS and small application on smaller SSD for that reason. I have 3 terabytes of HDD space for games and movies.

Overall Review: - I would download crucial's software as soon as you install the drive so it can operate at DOUBLE the speeds.
