Pros: 85% of the performance of samsung evo (non nvme) drives for 70-75% of the price
Crucial drives are a noticeable step up from all the other budget drives out there (PNY, TeamGroup, ADATA, Kingston, Micron, etc).
This is my go-to drive for any build not warranting the cost of an NVME drive. I have used the m2 version in at least 5 builds now and the 2.5" version in at least 10 others with no problems.
Pros: Improves Boot up times. Improves File Transfer. Faster Program Opening response.
Cons: Space management is a must so be careful where you download any +50GB videogames and heavy programs like CAD software or Media Editing software.
Overall Review: A great tool to learn how to use SSDs for beginners. if you want a greater performance on PC/Laptop change your storage drives to SSDs with similar storage capacity.
Overall Review: Would highly recommend, almost as good as Samsung for a LOT less.

Delivered a bit late, gets hotter than expected5/25/2020 6:57:50 PM
Pros: >Fast as with any SSD especially M2
>Boots up OS and other stuff quickly
>Next to no lag or freezing under stress
>Better than Samsung EVO 970 M2
Cons: >Got delayed by days, tracking inaccurate
>Lack of airflow in laptop makes it hot
>Considering thermal pads to reduce heat
>Packaging was big for such small SSD
Overall Review: Not much to write since I've used SSD before in my previous low end laptop. Originally wanted to get M2 NVME from Samsung but that was expensive and Acer confirmed my Nitro 5 only supports SATA. Apparently M2 get hot very easily unless they have adequate cooling and/or airflow, something a laptop lacks in both. Was much smaller than I imagined even with picture for comparison to typical 2.5" SSD. My room is directly above garage so it's gonna get very hot during the summer. To sum it up, I don't really hate this product, just that I should've done more research...at least this won't get as hot as Samsung EVO 970 M2.
Solid, no issues in 9 months of use9/6/2019 2:06:38 PM
Overall Review: Good product. 250GB is a bit small and SATA is a bit of a bottleneck for this drive, but if you know what you're getting it's a solid product that I've had no problems with.
