Pros: Well made, the sata connections are actually a bit more beefier than the Western Digital which broke to the touch and had to replace (3 weeks I wont get back in time) they put up with some movement for install. The case it better made as well.

Cons: Ran extremely slow, read many forums and did the most to optimize the drive, still extremely slow. My old Samsung 830pro was preforming better. I will be returning this and going another route. I expected more from you crucial. You've always been a good one to me but its time to say good bye.
Overall Review: If you gonna drop that much on an SSD make sure it isn't the cheapest one at the time. Spend a lil more it'll prevent a headache and save you some stress.

Overall Review: I've bought a few of these for my various PCs / Laptops for game storage. Great name-brand SSD storage for cheap. Quick loading and access times on these.
Overall Review: I bought this so I could backup my friends boot partition before updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (free update is still available). All went well so the backup is not needed. I am looking for a mini-itx motherboard to upgrade my Linux server so this 1TB drive will replace the current 256GB SSD.

Pros: Been a long time purchaser of crucial ram, first SSD for a desktop I have purchased. As expected, huge speed increase from my 10 year old Maxtor hdd, but let's give that hdd props for running flawlessly for so long. I only updated because ssd prices are so cheap per gig and I wanted a speed increase from my old hdd, and I definitely got that!
I purchased this ssd based on my previous experience with Crucial ram always running stable, and so far to my experience never failing, and a price slightly lower than the other big name competitor, which frankly I am tired of supporting for reasons of my own.
Cloning the old hdd to this sdd was painless, although I used Macrium Reflect instead of the free Acronis cloning software they make available, which probably works fine, but I am familiar with Macrium Reflect, it's free and I like the interface of it.
If you are on the fence with this drive and its speed, worry not, it's plenty fast and with Crucial's great legacy of performance and stability you won't go wrong.
Cons: None that I know of at this time.
Overall Review: Will be buying more of these in the future at larger drives sizes as money and timing allows.
