Great for 4 core or less CPUs, tread carefully with higher cores.

Pros: It's better than intel stock cooling, no questions here.

Cons: The hex screws that are used to attach the mounting plate to the board can sometimes not fit perfectly. I got one such screw. Doesn't make the install impossible or unfeasible, just a bit more annoying.

Other Thoughts: I originally got this for an 8600k. Temps went up to 82C when playing Overwatch, FPS capped to max of 300 (because I like putting my CPUs to work), with all the cores turbo'd via MCE to 4.3 Ghz.

Since then, I put a much beefier cooler on the 8600k, and moved this to my old i5 750 build I'm selling to a friend for very cheap. With a 4 Ghz OC, temps don't go past 65C. Perfect.

Better than stock intel cooler

Pros: nice size for itx build, reasonable price

Cons: all coolers can be a pain to install, this one was just ok but not completely frustrating

Other Thoughts: I debated purchasing the H7 but it's not really needed for an I-5 8400 build plus the size of the m9i cooler better fit an ITX board, benchmarks from various sites stated the intel cooler was good enough however the m9i dropped temps a decent amount . It was nice everything needed was included in the box

Awesome replacement for stock cooler

Pros: - Inexpensive
- Cools way better than a stock cooler
- Near silent at idle and moderate loads
- Pretty good thermal paste included (a BIG tube of if!)

Cons: - Not quite cool enough for serious enthusiasts
- Compared to some other coolers, this one is a little tricky to install

Other Thoughts: I've seen some bad reviews and I have to say some people are way too critical. I'm running this on a i7-2600k on a home media server that does tons of transcoding on the fly and prior to installing it, I was getting thermal throttling notices using the stock Intel cooler. For the life of me I could not get the stock cooler installed well enough to keep the processor cool. I'm pretty sure the cheapo plastic mounting clips just didn't have the grip anymore to maintain a good thermal connection. Even in the brief times it was installed with a decent connection, the CPU idled in the 40's and hit 85C at not even full load. Installing the M9i was tricky but only moderately so. Basically, until the mounting screws are tightened down, the whole system is a little wobbly which gave me a little pause as the unit is sitting on the thermal paste at this point. You have to kinda hold it all in place while trying to line up two screws to their holes simultaneously. But who cares? You do this once in a long while. It tightens down on it's mounting place quite solidly and will not be a problem in the vertical position for long periods. You will, however, probably will NOT be able to install this with the MB while your rig is in a vertical position. You'll have to lay your rig down so the MB is horizontal. I was able to mount it with the MB installed in my case through the opening in the MB tray in my case with no problem. Once installed it performs totally satisfactorily. My CPU now idles in the low 30's and gets to around 60-65C totally pegged while being night and day quieter than the stock cooler ever was. With the unit sitting under my desk it's almost completely silent (I literally can't tell if it's running) and at heavy loads I can't hear it over a tiny desk fan I have.

I think those ripping on it for not being able to handle over clocking loads aren't being realistic. The only thing I would watch out for is that my other Cryorig cooler's fan rattles a bit at higher speeds when mounted parallel to the ground. It's super quiet at idle but once it spins up, the fan hub walks up and down on it's spindle making noise that's quite audible with the system under my desk. Cryorig was tough to get to respond to customer service requests and I had to take to social media to get them to respond. Once they did, they offered to fix the problem but I wasn't willing to spend the time jumping through the hoops they wanted. They wanted me to take videos of my cooler making noise. Seriously, just send me a new fan, right? So, I just replaced the fan with a Corsair ML120 on my own dime. But that's all about a different cooler and just some testimony about the manufacturer. This one is mounted perpendicular to the ground in this system so I don't have that problem.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the M9i as a replacement for the stock cooler. You're not going to win any over clocking contests with it but, seriously, it's 19 bucks and a compact cooler. Why would you expect to?

Decent Cooler for the price, but not enough for my needs

Pros: Cheap
Blows Air

Cons: Uses tacky 30 gauge wire clips to hold the fan on. The clips themselves aren't even fixated or hinged onto any component, so the first time I took it off it flung off into the abyss.
Was not enough to cool my CPU. While running BF1, I was getting 92°C temp spikes at like, 60% load... But its my fault I thought this cooler would work with an I7-8700k anyway.

Other Thoughts: If you are getting a CPU with low power requirements, I am sure this will do the trick.

Great CPU cooler, terrible shipping

Pros: Cryorig , your cooler is great, it is cooling my 4790 under 100% WCG load sustained without breaking 65c.

Cons: Newegg, isnt as good as the Oldegg. The whole ship is sinking apparently. The only good thing left is the deals you run into sometimes, but when your saving $15, but waiting over a week, is it really worth it? i would have gone with Ama~zon if i knew it would take so long.

Other Thoughts: pay for the faster shipping.

Minimum price, maximum compatibility.

Pros: A non-intrusive tower cooler that keeps my Xeon X3440 very nice and cool, 60C under CPU mining test hitting all 8 threads, and it does that while remaining quiet.

Not very tall, so it doesn't have the problems of the Hyper212, and you won't run into RAM clearance problems.

It's also $20, with a 6 year warranty once you register the product.

Cons: Wish the little logo on the top of the cooler has the same rainbow effect as the center of the 92mm fan. Only cosmetic.

Other Thoughts: You won't find better price to performance here, $20 will get you a fantastic cooler from a reputable brand. The Gammax 200T does exist, but this one has a better mounting solution and a warranty.

It looks sleek, with a understated black and gray tone.

Unbeatable price and performance

Pros: Easy to install.
Compact size, I am using it in my Cougar qbx mini ITX build (note: I am not using the side swivel panel which give me more space)
Performance is good, my 6600K is now stable below 56 degree celsius.
Quiet, I can barely hear it, the loudest component in my PC is the HDD...

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: There are better performers out there for sure, but considering the price of them (most of them in the 40~50+ range), this heatsink gives unbeatable value.
