TRENDnet TEW-812DRU V2 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Router - 4 Gigabit port, DD-WRT Open Source support
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: High Speeds ( 30Mb/s up and down wireless n through Cable ) - good range - easy setup - very nice router

Cons: first unit was DOA but I guess everyone gets a bad unit every once in a while - I already put in a DOA review - so please delete one of those and replace with this.

Other Thoughts: Ordered Monday - got Tuesday - was doa - returned Wednesday - newegg got return Thursday and shipped replacement - received replacement Friday. cant beat that.

Patriot Supersonic Mini 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model PSF32GSMUSB
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Super tiny. USB3.0 speeds. I actually like the rubber coating on the outside. It's kinda grippy, but that works for a small device like this. I would not like that for a full sized drive.

Cons: the keychain concept is a joke. the rubber will not survive long if you tried to use it on a keychain. but I'm not. so no eggs dinged.

Other Thoughts: great, cheap, cheerful, tiny. what more could you want.

TRENDnet TEW-812DRU V2 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Router - 4 Gigabit port, DD-WRT Open Source support

  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: looks like it will be a very nice little router when I get one that works. was happy to see that it's USB3.0 now. had previously been relying on a cnet review which showed slow usb 2.0 connected device speeds.

Cons: out of box dead. no wireless transmission. no packets recieved from unit on any wired ethernet port. power supply looks fine. appeared to be a completely new unit ( shrink wrapped box and plastic cover sheets on router). oh well.

Other Thoughts: I'll update this if/when I have a good working unit.

thanks to newegg for being super easy to do returns with.
