This review is from: ASUS X99-DELUXE/U3.1 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: LOTS of features. Plenty of PCI-E slots. Great for SLI systems
Cons: this motherboard has given me nothing but trouble. And ASUS' once prominent tech support is now a third world country untrained support staff.
- Computer takes FOREVER to boot up unless you disable USB support in Bios
- Everytime I boot up, I get a USB device unrecognized errors
- I have RMA'ed this board twice
- Caused two high end 5930 CPUs to burn out within a month. (thank goodness for intels quick RMA process)
and yes, before ASUS replies to this post. I HAVE updated all my drivers and BIOS.
DDR4 3200(O.C.)/ 3000(O.C.)/ 2800(O.C.)/ 2666(O.C.)/ 2400(O.C.)/ 2133 <----- this is false, getting 3000 MHz ram on XMP settings causes mass issues.
This board is terrible and the support from ASUS is garbage. I have yet been able to talk to a qualified support person from ASUS.
Other Thoughts: I have spent over $600 on repairs, shipping and replacement parts because of these cruddy boards.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corsair Hydro Series H80i GT High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm
Pros: Looks cool, hose is very sturdy and sleek.
Cons: I always ditch the fans and get nicer quieter ones. I get about 50-60' c with my i7 5930 CPU while gaming. Seems a tad high for the additional $100 cost. I ditched the stock fans and upgraded mine to some nicer and quitter ones. the USB on my x99 mobo could not be detected. Read a bunch of forums and still couldn't get it to work.
Other Thoughts: I should have gone with the H110iGT since my case could have fit it and the performance seems way better from the reviews.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Looks nice, doesnt have a million buttons.
Cons: I dont have the world's biggest hands but this mouse felt to small. The side thumb area is made out of noticably cheap plastic. The sensitivity is CRAZY high and it took me almost an hour or two to zero it in, BUT, it felt like you had to your sensitivity every time you switched to a different game.
Other Thoughts: I even DL'ed the software for the mouse but it just seemed liked such a hastle to setup - i returned this item after 1 day. Love Corsair products, i have their keyboard, mousepad, memory, CPU cooler, but this mouse was a dud.READ FULL REVIEW
