Very well made

IOGEAR Wireless HDMI Digital Kit GW3DHDKIT
IOGEAR Wireless HDMI Digital Kit GW3DHDKIT

Pros: Good transmission range HDMI pass-through on transmitter 2 inputs Minimal footprint

Cons: Both transmitter and receiver get VERY hot Only supports standard HDTV resolutions (1080p, 720p, 480p)

Overall Review: I bought this to be able to use my computer wirelessly from another area in the house. I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse alongside it and already had a monitor ready to go. The transmission quality is excellent and there is very little, if any lag at all. The only problem was that the monitor I had was 1680 x 1050 so it would only do a 720p resolution instead of the native. It's not really too big of a deal considering this product will mostly be used with HDTVs though so it's no fault of the manufacturer. One of the best features is that once the pair is connected it will show information on screen about the connection so if there's no input you can still tell that the pair is working properly.

Fantastic Range

Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 920-002950 Black 8 Hot Keys USB RF Wireless Standard Keyboard and Mouse

Pros: -Amazing Range -Excellent battery life (have yet to change the ones it came with) -Good response time

Cons: - None

Overall Review: Amazing keyboard/mouse set. I bought this to wirelessly control my PC from upstairs when paired with a wireless HDMI transmitter and it works awesome. Yes, it's transmitting from a basement to the upper floor and it still works. The range is that good.

Amazing drive

Plextor M3 Pro Series 2.5" 512GB SATA III MLC 7mm Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) PX-512M3P

Pros: - super fast - excellent bundled transfer software - reliable so far - 5 year warranty

Cons: - capacity - price

Overall Review: Amazing little drive. I plugged it into my computer and ran the included software to transfer my existing windows installation over. It only took an hour or two. Unplugged my old drive and bam, works like a charm. From what I can tell it's the fastest 512 GB capacity SATA III drive out there so far and it definitely feels like it. I was only using about 300 - 350 gigs on my old drive when I transferred over to this one and I'm using about 400 now for everything so it's not for those who have a lot of stuff. I've found myself doing a bit of cleanup to keep my free space over about 90 gigs just to be safe. If things get out of hand I might even look at getting a second one to use as a raid array but we'll see. Overall, best investment I've ever made. Windows loads in about 15 seconds, games load in about half the time, and file transfers even over the LAN are faster. Highly recommend to anyone who's considering buying an SSD to replace their HDD.
