Pros: Works great so far as a replacement for an older 4TB drive connected to my DirecTv receiver.
Cons: Be advised, this drive is drop shipped straight from Japan and you will have to sign for it!
Other Thoughts: I got all new DirecTv equipment, Genie receivers etc... and a new antenna. So I wanted a new hard drive to go with everything else. This drive performs just as well as the older 4TB hard drive that was connected to my old DirecTv equipment.
Side note.... This drive or I should say the Rosewill Armer RX304-APU3-35B external enclosure causes the DirecTv receiver to respond very slowly to buttons pressed on the remote control. I.E. You press the menu button and it takes 15 to 20 seconds for the menu to actually come up. Most other buttons, commands and sub-menus are just as slow to respond. This was using the eSATA connection and not the slower data rate USB 3.0 connection.
Removed the hard drive and put it in a new Thermaltake ST2100U external enclosure and it performs perfectly just as several ST2100U's have performed in the past for me.

Pros: It might possibly work ok as an external hard drive for a PC or maybe using the slower data transfer USB 3.0 port. But who wants to use the slower data rate port? You buy enclosures to be able to use the faster eSATA data rates.
Now i'm stuck with two of these and have no use for them.
Cons: When this enclosure is plugged into a DirecTv Genie Receiver using the eSATA port, it causes the Genie receiver to respond very slowly. I.E. You press the menu button and it takes 15 to 20 seconds for the menu to actually come up. Same with many other functions of the Genie Receiver like the list button and guide button. And the sub-menus under these main menus. You press a selection and the receiver can take up to 30 seconds to respond to that button press.
Other Thoughts: I would NOT recommend this enclosure for use as an external hard drive for a DirecTv receiver. I would RECOMMEND the Thermaltake Model ST0021U which I have used for the past 7 or 8 years on multiple different DirecTv receiver models without a single problem. I've always used 4TB drives in the thermaltakes also.
I just figured I'd try this Rosewill enclosure since it had a LCD display. Something cool and different. A display which by the way, You CANNOT turn off nor can you turn off or dim the Power and HDD lights on the unit.
The Thermaltake is much better made internally as well.
Maybe this Rosewill enclosure will work using the USB 3.0 connection ... I didn't try that connection since the eSATA has the HIGHER data transfer rate.
I took my 4TB Western Digital AV-GP WD40EURX Hard drive out of the Rosewill enclosure and installed it in a new Thermaltake ST2100U enclosure, Connected it to the Genie receiver and restarted the receiver and bam, it works perfectly. No delays, no menu delays... nothing. You would not even know you had an external drive connected to the receiver.... which is how it is supposed to be.
Don't waste your money on this one if you're going to use it on a DirecTv receiver. Get the Thermaltake ST2100U.
Pros: Great memory, stable as can be and a perfect fit for my Asus Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard.
G.Skill best customer support I have ever experienced.
Cons: I ordered 4 of these kits to completely fill my 8 memory slots with a whopping 64Gb total memory. However one of the sets showed up in the Bios as "Abnormal". Swapped those two memory boards with two of the others I had installed and sure enough the problem followed the two boards as I swapped them.
This is where the greatness of G.Skill takes over.
Other Thoughts: Packaging said lifetime warranty. So I said what the heck and dropped G.Skill an email explaining all of the situation to see what they would do if anything. Same day as they answered my email they sent me directions to RMA the abnormal boards back to G.skill. Which I did and it was like a week to 10 days at MOST from the time I mailed my bad memory that a new kit showed up in my mailbox and they work perfectly.
I've never experienced customer or technical support this superb. G.Skill should be commended for taking care of the customer first and worrying about their profit margin last. Too bad they don't make a wider variety of computer components. I'd buy everything I could from G.Skill to build my new computers with this awesome service!
The only down sides were I was without full memory capacitiy for 2 weeks and the cost I had to pay to ship the bad memory back to G.Skill.
Seems like to me if you can prove the memory is bad, (problem moved with the memory when you tried them in other slots) and they send you a new set right away because they test your bad memory and confirm it has problems ... seems like they should reimburse the customer for the shipping costs to send bad memory back..
