CORSAIR CX-M series CX430M 430W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Modular Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I bought this PSU for a build for my brother. It works well as a simple modular power supply with no frills.

Cons: MSRP is too high. Sales and rebates make this a much better value.

Other Thoughts: 430W version: Won't run an AMD P2 X4 940BE and Nvidia GTX260 55nm on the more demanding games. That is too be expected though from having to use a molex to PCIe power adapter though. I have since swapped it into my file server and it is working much better there.

5 out of 5 eggs Excellent stick for right/left use 01/27/2014

This review is from: THRUSTMASTER T.16000M Joystick (PC)

Pros: This stick is a great stick. This stick centers absolutely perfectly. When centered it reads 0/0 every time unlike some other joysticks out there (cough, X52).

Setting this up for left handed use was very easy. Several screws and the stick was ready to go.

Cons: The buttons on the base are somewhat mushy, and the throttle feels somewhat cheap.

No way to disable the green LEDs in the base.

Pressing button 2 (bottom center on top of stick) could be awkward at first.

Other Thoughts: I use this stick for games that support simultaneous joystick and mouse inputs, and also for dual joysticks (with an X52).

MASSCOOL FD08025S1M4 80mm Case Cooling Fan

1 out of 5 eggs LOUD 01/27/2014

This review is from: MASSCOOL FD08025S1M4 80mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: It moves air.

Cons: This fan is LOUD. Definitely much louder than 28db. At this price range there are much better options to consider.

Other Thoughts: The noise was bad enough that this fan got retired pretty much right away. I recently clipped the connector and sleeving off to repair a different fan that had gotten damaged. RIP that one mistake those many years ago.
