Pros: -2Tb capacity -Large cache -5 year warranty!!
Cons: -Started to have bad sectors after a year or so.
Overall Review: After about a year of storing my other program folders on this hard drive (with a SSD as my boot drive) it started to get some bad sectors. It started slowing my boot up time significantly and caused boot up issues. There werent any issues if I booted up without the drive. The bad sectors kept increasing, so I started transferring as much as I could onto a 1Tb drive. Ended up getting about 500Gb when it crapped out. Accomplished a quick zeroize on the first and last million, and afterwards tried a quick format, and it failed halfway through. RMAing this one, but havent had many issues with WD in the 8 years of using their drives. Had 16kb of bad sectors on a 500Gb WD blue drive, but zeroized it and reformatted it and it is still goin strong (as a Movie storage device, not writing anything to it anymore). Also had an old raptor fail on me about 7 yrs ago (2 years after purchase), but that's about it. Havent had any issues with my 3 other WD drives (2 are 1Tb black) definitely recomme
Decent

Pros: -Great for eSATA and storing large amounts of transportable data
Cons: -Fan blades broke
Overall Review: Have two of these for about 2 yrs now, and both fans have broken blades. 80mmx15mm fans are about $10 /sigh...
Pretty decent

Pros: -Optical switching -Works well with the Logitech Harmony One remote. -Price (quite low for something that has lasted so long)
Cons: -Not Optical and HDMI switcher (couldnt find one for under 200)
Overall Review: Overall it's a pretty decent switch. It does what you ask it to. Excellent for the price and has lasted me 2 yrs now. Just wished it was a multiplexer as well so I could play Xbox and listen to music (via my computer) with my surround sound. I've tried with the creative Xfi fatality, and it was a huge disappointment.
3 years strong

Pros: Well, it's a hard drive. It worked perfectly fine for the 3 years I've had it.
Cons: Started having issues right after the 3 yr warranty was up.
Overall Review: Because I was using it as my OS drive, issues show more prominently. Once I get my SSD, this will become a data storage drive, should still work fine, only has about 8k of bad sectors. If it goes bad, not a big deal. Still ran strong for 3 years and will be replacing this with a WD black.

Pros: Love the e-SATA connection Fan keeps it cool quick installation
Cons: Fan can sometimes be a bit loud when first turning it on, but after running for a bit, it quiets down
Overall Review: cheap e-sata external, and does it's job. this is my 2nd.
