Western Digital Black WD2001FASS 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Fast access speed. Great while they lasted.

Cons: These drives didn't last nearly as long as I felt they should. After only two years 2 out of the 3 drives I purchased show SMART status failure and cannot be written to properly.

Other Thoughts: I ran these drives on a linux server in a raid 5 setup. Perhaps they aren't designed for this type of usage, but they're storage drives... I expected better.

ASUS RT-N53 Dual Band Wireless N600 SOHO Router, DD-WRT Open Source support, Fast Ethernet, 5 Guest SSID, Parental Access Time control to Each User
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Pretty... has some cool features...

Cons: Port forwarding doesn't work no matter which stock firmware I used. Trying to install DD-WRT on it just bricked it even though it is supposedly supported (according to Newegg).

Other Thoughts: I've been very pleased with other Asus products, but this product has proved to be something of a hassle. I don't think I'll be trying any other Asus Routers unless this is resolved. I'll stick to Cisco.

Adesso AKB-230W USB Foldable water proof 120-key full size keyboard, 0.50
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Looks cool, Has the "wow" factor, and kinda does what it needs to

Cons: Will not work for a real typist. The look and feel is nothing like a real keyboard and doesn't respond well to pressing the keys at an angle. I bought this thinking I would try it as a LAN party keyboard. It didn't last 2 hours before I got fed up with it.

Other Thoughts: Good for laptop users who need bigger keys than what comes standard on many smaller models. Go for a real keyboard, You'll be happier
