Pros: Super fast
Read and write speeds far surpass my expectations
Great OS drive
5 year warranty
Cons: None as of now
Other Thoughts: WD has been my trusted company for hard drives as I've never had one fail personally. I've had to replace a couple failed drives in friends computers, but they were 5+ years old. Those were older SATA II 500GB WD Blue drives.
Some say that the Blue drive is much faster for read and write times than the black drives. Well, in my experience, this black drive blows my 1 TB Blue drive out of the water in speed and performance.
My blue drive had a maximum of 197 MB Read and 175 MB write speed, as this drive had a 231 MB read and a 200 MB write speed. So I think I got a great drive that is supposed to run at its intended performance.
Windows 10 Pro boots up in 8 seconds with this drive, and 13 seconds on my blue drive.
Don't get me wrong, the blue drives are great, and I hope mine lasts for years to come, and I hope this drive lasts too.
Highly recommended if you want speed and performance for a primary drive, or use with a SSD drive.
Pros: This board represents true quality, reliability and performance I come to expect from ASUS. The board is solid and has been running stable for 8 months now. This is a very solid board. The board stays very cool. Paired with an AMD FX-6300 and 4 GB of Gskill Ripjaws X 1600 mhz RAM. All USB ports function great.
Other Thoughts: We had a scare a few months back where the computer kept bluescreening and wouldn't boot. Thought the motherboard was dead after 4 months, but found out the sata power plug in to the hard drive went bad to where the hard drive wasn't getting enough power. Swapped it out and it's been working great since.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is the second review of the replacement card for our church computer.
This video card is a beast. It is able to handle anything. A major upgrade to the old NVIDIA Geforce 210 that we had. Now, we can run two LCD screens via DVI, and our projector via HDMI, and I was able to clone the projector with the second LCD screen. Very satisfied. We can also add one more monitor with the Display Port if it ever comes down to it. Our motherboard is an ASUS M4A88T-M, AMD Phenom II X6 1045T, 8 GB Corsair Memory, 2TB Seagate HDD, Thermaltake case and 700W power supply, and now the PNY NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660. This motherboard has a PCI Express 2.0 Slot, and the video card is PCI Express 3.0, but runs very well.
Cons: Absolutely None
Other Thoughts: We should have had this card a long time ago. We built the computer 2 years ago as a bundle. Computer still runs strong. This computer is not used for gaming.READ FULL REVIEW
