5 out of 5 eggs Great experience so far, Intel makes SSDs easy. 06/25/2011

This review is from: Intel 320 Series 2.5" 160GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSA2CW160G310

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just some thoughts after installing the drive: 1) Yes you should install this drive with AHCI or RAID enabled in the bios (depending on your needs). 2) Trim should work fine with the newest Intel Rapid storage driver installed (trim will work if you have RAID enabled as long as the SSD is not part of the array, i.e., intel 320 by itself, with 2 hard drives in raid 0.) 3) As I found out the hard way, this drive uses M3 screws for mounting, apparently older drives used 6-32 screws, which I accidentally bought extras of based on Intel installation guides I found online. The installation instructions that came with the drive have since been updated to reflect use of the M3 screw.
