Intel BOXDQ67EPB3 LGA 1155 Intel Q67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: 2 DVI ports (dual monitor natively) although I have a EVGA T550i 2GB card, I can fall back on those if I really need the PCI-E slot.

I have an I-5 2320 running with default HSF (the bios warns you once that the cpu is not supported and that's it), 8gb of Ram, Sugo SG-05 Case. Tiny & Quiet with 3 1TB 2.5 drives for data and 1 120GB 2.5 drive for OS (Windows Server 2003).

Cons: 6 Sata ports would be nice. Full length mini-pcie would be nice. Bios takes a liitle while to kick the sytem off to the OS. What devices are compatable with this anyway?

Other Thoughts: I like small quiet systems (the default HSF for the i52320 is pretty quiet to me). I'm waiting on 2 8GB sticks of ram so I can start experimenting with ramdisks and virtualazation. 4x3ghz cores, 2gb graphics ram, 8gb system ram, I'm set for a while.

5 out of 5 eggs Magnificent Hardware 03/23/2006

This review is from: ASRock 939NF4G-SATA2 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: My X2 4200 has found a home. This MB replaced the overHYPED DFI RS482 which disappointed me with intermittent monitor blinking, and it only gave me 3.4GB of my 4GB ram to the system. One spectacular advantage of the Asrock is the "Memory Hole" bios option, it gives me the full 4GB of Corsair XMS DDR400 to the system (none swallowed up by hardware resources). The overclock options & onboard audio are adequate. I'm running the X2 4200 @ 2530 stable on stock voltages for RAM & CPU (230 FSB). I'm totally satisfied with this piece of equipment, my first Asrock board fully impressed me.

Cons: Not one con, The price is unbeatable for this level of stability and quality. I have not tried the onboard video, but the manual says that it can be used in addition to a pcie videocard.

Other Thoughts: ASRock 939NF4G-SATA2, AMD X2 4200, 4GB Corsair XMS 3200c2, Zalman 7000b cu, Nvidia Quadro FX1300, OCZ Powerstream 600w, NEC 3550 Optical Drive, 4 Maxtor Drives; 2 x 300GB, 1 x 250GB, 1 x 200GB
