Cisco Small Business 100 Series SG102-24-NA Smart 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Switch is dead simple to use, and has been rock-solid. Inclusion of SFP ports are nice for fibre integration with larger networks, though is likely overkill for the target market. The flexibility of a smaller form-factor while maintaining the ability to rack-mount via included brackets is nice. Fanless design is nice if used in an office rather than closet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ports on the front and power on the back could make things messy depending on use-case, as opposed to both power and ports on the back. May be a pro if cables are frequently being added/removed from the switch (ease of access).

Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Black Brushed Aluminum and Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case ATX (not included) Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Fantastic case: flexible, easy to work in, can provide excellent cooling, and simply looks really good.

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: The fan provided by Corsair I would say are average. I replaced the three provided fans with six BitFenix Spectre Pro PWM fans, and this case is both cool and silent.

4 out of 5 eggs Excellent case fans 08/17/2014

This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro BFF-SPRO-P14025KK-RP 140mm PWM Case Fan

Pros: PWM allows for very lower RPM when not needed; very quiet for airflow.

Cons: They are a bit pricy for a case fan, as good as they are (I got mine on sale at a price I think is a far better value).

Other Thoughts: I got six to fill out a Corsair 750D case that has a dual CPU + dual GPU setup - even with the system at full load I cannot hear the fans over ambient.

One egg docked for price. I think they might be slightly overpriced by a dollar or two.
