Huge!

Ideazon Battlefield 2142 FragMat Gaming MousePad
Ideazon Battlefield 2142 FragMat Gaming MousePad

Pros: This thing is monster! Very thin, smooth. The graphics are nice, and they don't interfere with optical sensors.

Cons: Larger than I'm used to, not a big problem at all.

Not Worth Mechanical Cost

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical PC Gaming Keyboard– Cherry MX Blue (RZ03-00381900-R3U1)
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical PC Gaming Keyboard– Cherry MX Blue (RZ03-00381900-R3U1)

Pros: Excellent tactile feedback, the cherry MX Blue switch has a pleasing springback. The backlit keys are very nice, bright, and well made. I like the macro controls, quick macro functions, and the five macro keys on the side. Gaming mode is a convenient feature for some people, though I personally don't use it.

Cons: I have had two of these keyboards now, my first for just under a year, when it started clattering. This happens when the switch goes bad, and a key like "S" will register as 2, 3, somtimes even 4 s keystrokes. I replaced the original under warranty, and the new one had the same issue 1 month out of warranty.

Overall Review: I really love the passthrough for USB and audio, though I don't frequently use them. Overall, this keyboard is great, but now I have had two that fail right outside of warranty, so the retailer no longer covers an exchange, and razer is impossible to get in contact with, all online support will not successfully submit when I select a device issue.

Excellent Headset- New Design Flawed

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone
Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone

Pros: This headset is extremely comfortable, and the wireless works excellently (to begin with). The leather earcups, head cushion, and the overall design of this headset is excellent. Really holds up to years of normal use. After my first failed out of warranty, Logitech replaced it, due to defect being the cause, even though the warranty period was over.

Cons: I have had three pairs of this headset, and all have failed in an identical manner. I had my original pair of G930s for two years, and they worked fantastically for both years. However, after the second year the wireless connection would drop, and reconnect. At first, it only happened once or twice a day, then it began to happen once or twice an hour, then once or twice every 10 minutes. It got to a point where I would have to unplug the headset and plug it back in, and the connection would reset, causing me to have to restart all programs using sound at the time. The warranty replacement headset started having this identical issue within one month of use. The issue degraded to the most severe degree the previous headset had within another month of use. I noticed the warranty replacement model is a new design, and it would seem whatever success the first design had, has been eliminated in the subsequent models. Another highly frustrating quality of the new pair, there seems to be a slight rustling in the left ear, almost constantly. It sounds like there is an insect or something small crawling inside the ear cup, or my hair is brushing the fabric covering the speaker, but I have opened things up to no avail.

Overall Review: The original model I had was my favorite headset I have had to date. The sound quality, though not audiophile level, is very good. I enjoyed the Dolby Surround, though it does have a sort of cheesy echo effect. The headset is very full-featured, but it seems that the new design has amplified whatever flaws the original did have. I have had nothing but issues with the headset, since my original was replaced. I have no complaints about Logitech's customer service, which is why I give the headset 3 stars. Logitech customer care and the quality and duration of the original pair make this headset worthwhile, but not for anything over $100.

Died

ASUS A8N5X 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS A8N5X 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Good build, good placement.

Cons: My board started dying after about 3 months, it dropped off from perfect, smooth running in max specs to choppy, low fps in low spec. It has been slowly decreasing in performance since this happened, and it cannot handle more than one program at at time.

Overall Review: Pretty sure this is a great board, I just got a dud. I had no idea what was wrong with it for a while, so some advice- call tech support if you suspect anything is wrong.

Decent Case

NZXT GUARDIAN BLK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400 Watt PS2 ATX 12V Power Supply
NZXT GUARDIAN BLK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400 Watt PS2 ATX 12V Power Supply

Pros: Strong design, cooling is not a problem for me. Good look.

Cons: Faceplate came broken, wires for reset/start button are short, front usb ports slightly short. Orange crystal on top of the case doesn't light up after plugging in all LED cables for the front. Also very heavy.

Overall Review: I would reccommend a different case, this one is bulky and has some issues with shipping, if the faceplate does not come broken, I suspect it will break and cause more damage from a drop later. IF you have the patience to glue it on or anything, go for it.

Avoid this case

NZXT GUARDIAN BLK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400 Watt PS2 ATX 12V Power Supply
NZXT GUARDIAN BLK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400 Watt PS2 ATX 12V Power Supply

Pros: Good looking case.

Cons: Face plate was broken, this seems a common problem. The power supply was extremely underpowered, I had to buy a new one, as it was not providing enough power to the fans and it would overheat after about 45 min.

Overall Review: Do NOT buy this case. I was so attracted to the design, so I disregarded the reviews. Not a good idea, it is a poor quality case.
