It is, what I hoped it would be.
Pros: It arrived quickly and safe. I am an expert at making very simple things difficult. For the RAM I used a 2GB Centon 667 stick, a DVD Multi and a WD Blue 320GB. Turned it on and got the dreaded Bootmgr Missing and could not get rid of it. While doing my research I read all of the Feedbacks, thanks to the one that put the movie of the HDD installation. I decided to see if it was that easy, it is. Since I had it out I replaced it with a WD non colored 320GB. I hadn't decided if I was going to use Ubuntu or Win 7. When the new HDD worked I was surprised and grabbed the nearest, it happened to be 64bit Win7. Don't. I went ahead and loaded, updated and was ready to go even though it was glitchy. Erratic mouse and very slow. I pulled the HDD and installed a WD noncolor 250 GB and loaded Win7 32 bit. A new computer! Works great. I got it for Magic Jack, YouTunes and email hence the 5 stars. I slapped a Haup 950 USB tuner just to see how it would work, WinTV works great but Media Center gives
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: a slide show with good audio.
Low cost, very expensive
Pros: First two hard drives it worked great, 2 IDE drives. Known good. Pleased.
Cons: Tried an unknowned Seagate SATA and smoked it. Tried an old IDE 4 GB Seagate that was good when I removed it and smoked it. Tried an old 1GB and got nothing. I had to know for sure so I connected a brand new WD 160 IDE up and pulled the plug as soon as the smoke and smell appeared. I figured it was toast.
Overall Review: Went back to my old way using an old SATA/ IDE enclosure and hooked the WD 160 and it came up. I formatted it, so it wasn't a total loss. Sometimes the old ways are best.
