RAVPower PB07 10400 mAh Black External Battery Pack Portable Charger Power Bank (Dual USB Outputs, Ultra Compact Design), for iPhone, iPad, Mini; Samsung Galaxy, Note 3; HTC One, EVO; Google Nexus

Pros: 2 amp output Quality build 2 charging wires are coiled so they remain compact or can provide some length

Cons: Shiny plastic case collects prints It takes a long time to fully charge.

Overall Review: 2 amp is for charging lager devices like tablets You can connect any device to the 2 amp charger. It will only draw what it needs. This is about the size of a deck of cards. I use a smaller version to connect my bluetooth while in my backpack. If you are in a hurry don't worry about having a 80 or 90% charge. Li Ion batteries take as long to charge the last 10% as the first 90%. This is also why you should charge a phone with one of these to 80% then disconnect the phone until you need the charge again.

PowerDVD standard vs Ultra check before you buy

CyberLink PowerDVD 12 Standard
CyberLink PowerDVD 12 Standard

Pros: This is usually a program for DVD playback

Cons: Check out the cyberlink product comparison web site before you buy. This does not support many audio and video formats and does not support blueray playback. http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd/compare-versions_en_US.html?&r=1 Even with the PRO edition you will have issues playing most blueray disks.

Overall Review: This DRM needs to stop or make it where it works for people who purchase content. Software companies like this should make a better effort to get content providers to allow playback. If the software won't play most blueray titles they should be upfront with the customers about it.

Poor viewing angle

Acer G6 Series G236HL Black 23" TN 5ms (GTG) 60 Hz Widescreen LED/LCD Monitor 1920 x 1080 FHD, Slim Profile Design, Acer eColor Technology, and EcoDisplay
Acer G6 Series G236HL Black 23" TN 5ms (GTG) 60 Hz Widescreen LED/LCD Monitor 1920 x 1080 FHD, Slim Profile Design, Acer eColor Technology, and EcoDisplay

Pros: Cheap and thin, light

Cons: Viewing angle is very specific dead center otherwise it looks washed out. Comapred to my x220t laptop this monitor looks horrible unless you are at that specific angle then it looks good.

Overall Review: Connections in the back are straight out so flush mount is likely not possible without a 90 degree adapter.

Buyer Beware

Total Defense Premium Internet Security - 5 User
Total Defense Premium Internet Security - 5 User

Pros: They say works with portable devices

Cons: The rebate requires a monthly subscription that you have to sign up for before you can submit the rebate. It also requires a new hardware proof of purchase. I apply for many rebates and I couldn't figure anyway around these deceptive business practice. If they were upfront with this and didn't require a monthly subscription.

Overall Review: Finally, windows 8 really doesn't need protection. It has built in windows defender.

Solid Performance

MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3+ AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3+ AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Solid Performance with lots of room for upgrades

Cons: Check the specs on the website. This doesn't support all AM2 CPUs. For example the 955 Phenom 2 or higher is not supported. I ran it with a Phenom 2 920 and it ran flawlessly in games and other applications. I wish there were more SATA ports for media center expansion but you can get addon cards really cheap.

Amazing Case - New Car Smell

CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock
CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Solid - when you have what you think is a good case and even when you compare this in the store to other $200+ cases you see this is substantial. Cable Management - you can run just about everything through the rear of the case. Openings everywhere. Versatility - Insane options. Watch the video. No tools required - The harddrives have gudes that basically snap on to the drive with some noise dampaning. They then slide and snap in. Every part pops off or disconnects in a reliable way (meaning it won't break or snap at some point) Cooling - Fans are more than enough for any system. If your adding more you are breaking the laws of physics to over clock. Room - enough room for anything with room to spare Harddrive cooling built in - The HD cooling doubles as air flow which is normal for many cases. Air filtration - filters everywhere USB3 - Fan Speed and LED Control on the front panel (read the manual) Rubberized - the grip is a handle and a back opening.

Cons: Heavy - this is a solid well built case and you should expect some weight Large - just a warning. No bigger than the $200+ cases however.

Overall Review: I paid $129 for this. Considering what you get for the $60 over a much cheaper (quality) case this is a luxury This case is over the top with features and size. It includes a MB power extention if needed. It will fit a board bigger than a full ATX I have never thrown money at this kind of case but when I saw this I had to have it. It will likely be with me for the next 10 years
