relatively stable connection
Cons: blaring blue LED is obnoxious
Other Thoughts: I spent 6 hours trying to install the drivers for this device to no avail. I started with my old adapter still installed, windows was unable to locate drivers for the AsusN13. Ok, so I run the install disk packaged with the adapter... success! So I attempt to open google chrome, where I'm greeted with a blank screen, followed by the "all systems go" changing to "no internet access". Alright then, we just need to update! Well, the Asus website is a labyrinth with dozens of links that could potentially fix my issue.. I try the one labeled "drivers", this should solve my problem! Nope, it's just a few worthless .dll and .dat files that have no home and windows can't recognize them as drivers. Well then, let's try the updater utility, it's designed to fix problems like this, right? NOPE. Ran the updater, is packed full of applications that can't even recognize the device as being plugged in at all.
I fiddled with various drivers and utilities hosted by Asus for quite long enough. You know, if you can't just package the device with drivers that are going to work, maybe you should just stick to motherboards, eh? Or at least, make the updater a simple download/run/install fix. Thanks for the great PC hardware, but leave the networking to the professionals, Asus.
Pros: Looks nice, steady signal.
Cons: Would *not* connect to internet. Drivers are difficult to locate, install, and did not work.
Other Thoughts: A: Windows was not able to located drivers (with old adapter still in use for internet access)
B: The device wasn't able to use updated drivers that were downloaded straight from Asus' website. It would not even locate the device using these drivers. (By running the software .exe.... the actual "drivers" are just a worthless .dll and .dat file)
C: The packaged software was able to connect to a network, but not access the internet.
I spent about 6 hours trying to get this installed and did some research around the internet for information. I came up short and found only 1 other person who had the same problems as me. It's probably an isolated incident but I certainly am not going to risk it again.
This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: High-quality for the price
spacious interior can comfortable seat 2 video cards
Cons: A bit narrow, stick to smaller video cards. (They may fit very snug against the door!)
Other Thoughts: I'm very satisfied with this case. The quality, the construction, the price.READ FULL REVIEW
